Used 2004 Buick Park Avenue for Sale near Oklahoma City, OK
Some new color options, a new hood ornament, and new 16-inch chrome-plated and aluminum wheel styles are the only changes to the 2004 Park Avenue, which hasn't received a major redesign since 1997. The full-size luxury sedan focuses on maximum driver comfort and minimum driver effort. With four-star crash test ratings, it is also a safe and reliable family transporter.
The base and Ultra Park Avenue feature ABS brakes, OnStar, dual front and side airbags and traction control. The Ultra adds stability control and rain-sensing wipers. As for luxury, both models have full power features, power front seats, leather upholstery, and wheel-mounted audio and cruise controls. A CD player, heated seats and mirrors, auto headlights, and auto-dimming rearview mirror are added with the Ultra. A nice option is the unique heads-up display that projects driver information onto the windshield. The 2004 Park Avenue is the largest Buick sedan, seven inches longer than the LeSabre, and it shows in the ample front and rear leg and headroom. The Ultra has a pass-through to the 19 cubic foot trunk for extra long objects. And with a 20/29 mpg, many drivers feel the 2004 Park Avenue is a smart economic choice compared to other cars in this segment.
The 2004 Park Avenue is starting to show its age, and owners feel the quality of the interior materials do not live up to the sedan's luxury image. They report some shudder at high speeds, and dislike that the Ultra requires premium gas. They do like all the upscale features, the light and easy handling, and the quiet ride.

(6 reviews)Fantastically reliable, great gas mileage. Looks good, timeless classic American sedan. 3800 engine will last forever with proper maintenance. Seats 5-6 comfortably, enough trunk space for a weekend shopping trip. Lowest cost of ownership of any vehicle. Love this car!
The 2003 to 2005 Buck Park Avenue still used the venerable 3.8L engine-that dependably goes 300,000 miles without needing to be rebuilt if given regular oil changes & basic maintenance-but Buick engineers went to war with the rust that had corroded the LeSabre models that were the most-sold vehicle in America back then by galvanizing the sheet metal on both the inner and outer surfaces as a test on the Park Avenue series. I prefer the smaller size of the LeSabre and its styling i consider superior-but beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. At age 70 this will be the last car i ever purchase, so need it to last me to death. Many old farmers by seat of pants harsh winter experience judged its having front wheel drive with long wheelbase the best compromise for rugged rough winter road use in the far north where plan to relocate to-the Park Avenue by them was top rated for safety experience...so behind the fence line stories related. What it is missing is the sports car handling of a Jaguar E-Type am leaving behind-so am sure going to get a Park Ave with at least the F-41 suspension components and upgraded tires, and an Ultra optioned variant if can find one in Ming Blue. Long trip comfort combined with ample storage and carrying ability of the big trunk. And ease of entry and exit compared to most of these tiny new cars that require a pair of pliers attached to ones shirt sleeve to extract oneself from pulled from the outside by a friend not always at hand when needed to keep from feeling all crunched up when finally out. It had most of the luxury features (many of which i would very gladly live without) of others costing $20,000 more when new 20 years ago, so was a good value then and that so many were made means one can get service and parts on them anywhere one travels or moves to. A compelling combination of factors that made them-LeSabre and Park Avenues-as sought after and popular as they were. Good used ones command high prices, sell very quickly, but not at all high when compared to the likes of the Toyotas etc they butt heads with in todays market place. Nuff said.
Comfy car. The 3800 engine is bullet proof. They dont make cars like this anymore.
There is no other car that can deliver the smooth ride and quite cabin going down the road like this Buick does. Reliable as everyone knows. 200k, 300k, and these cars ask for more. How can you go wrong owning a wonderful car like this.
The Buick parkavenue best car ever made i sold them in 1991 thru 1993 and always wanted on 3800 best motor ever made the car wizard on TV even agrees real leather not like the crap they use in New cars the whole cars unbelievable.
