side engine mount
I am installing a 1996 engine in my 1998 aurora and the side mount(the one on the fender side) does not line up when the 98 mount is put on the 96 engine does anyone have an answer on how to correct this problem ? Les

It is a really fast car with a V8(biggest olds. ever built). It gets 16 miles to the gallon for gas. It has a maroon extirior and a lether intirior. The car is really fun to drive because it sounds nice accelorates fast.Feb 13, 2010

this cars quality is unbelievable everything about it from the interior to the the little bells and whistles....not to mention the power that comes from the 4.0 northstar v8 engine i mean it does look like a grandpas car but it doesnt moved like one :)Aug 30, 2009

Luxury performance, leather accomidations, and wood trim. The car is 11 years old at the time of writing, it has held up quite well with no major malfunctions. The engine is still snappy it is a 244ci V8 from Cadilac. If you get the chance to drive one of these beauties go for it!Mar 04, 2009

My car is pretty cool. Even though it was not meant to be a sports car it's very sports like. Has a decent bit of horsepower and plenty of torque. The northstar or whatever you want to call it performs very well. I love my caddy, I mean Aurora. :)
-performance is much better than any car that I have ever owned. I think it accelerated very well in the few races that I have had. It handled well at 110 miles an hour and it brakes just as well.
-I think the car is built very well. I have a few problems with it and need to get it painted and some very light body work done but otherwise its solid.
-The car looks great on the inside and good on the outside. Maintenance sucks and it guzzles a decent amount of gas but not as much as you would think for a V8.
- This car is alot of fun to drive especially if you like to race.

Its 10 years old, been repainted and has 90K miles. But its a great car and has a V8! It can cruise at 100mph with 4 adults sitting comfortably. Its the best car GM ever built and its a shame that the Oldsmobile brand went away.Jul 09, 2008

Car isn't over heating pressure pushing engine coolant out
I just replaced the metal peice and belt that turn an push water to the water pump. Now the resivour for engine coolant is spilling over and has pressure pushing the coolant out the cap. Car isn't over heating.
