Your picture is of a 993 Turbo. I own a 1998 911 Carrera 2S, manual transmission, which has the same body, but not as powerful. These cars are spectacular and expensive for that reason. One of the best air cooled cars. Buy one if you can find a good one!!

My Porsche — No dislikes . Lovve everything about it . I use it everyday for commuting to work, taking kids to school, going to groceries even to SAMS CLUB. What else do you want from a car. Okay maybe its not the best car for snow

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Love it

Cons: nothing okay maybe not so good on ice

Badass Toy For A Badss Boy. — Fast fun horrible gas mileage. What more could a guy want. It accelerates like a bat out of hell and it handles like a demon on rails. The interior is all business and nothing less. I am not sure why it has a back seat though.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: fun

Cons: none

Why Hasn't Everyone Got One? — Fun every time you get in it, beautifully built, fantastic performance and handling and not too ridiculously expensive to run. The Targa roof gives you the best of open top running but without the security compromises and the TIPEC owners club is good fun too. Totally recommended! And if you think it's not hard core enough, my suggestion is to buy a crap everyday car, then only drive the Porsche for the good times. Then you'll never get anywhere near it's limits on the road and give yourself a thrill every time you use it.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Not the right shape for good sound from ICE, but then the engine sounds sooo good...

Beautiful, Powerful, Amazing — My friend let me drive this car a bit - its amazing. So much power on tap, and an incredible amount of control.

Pros: Power, steering, styling.

Cons: Nitpick - getting in and out of the car is a acrobatic exercise.  But it *is* a sports car.

One Of The Last Of The Air-cooled 911s. Very Rare And Beautiful. Wow. — The last of the handmade air-cooled Porsches. The new ones may be faster, but the 993 series Porsches are the best cars they ever built.

Pros: Everything.

Cons: Expensive as hell to own and operate.

Nice Toy — Not at all practical but seriously fun to drive. I've only driven this car once but it was a pretty cool experience. Noisy, not extremely comfortable, but a real beast. Drive it before you die.

Pros: performance, eye-catcher, iconic

Cons: noisy, inpractical

Great First Porsche — This was my first Porsche, love it till the last day. Handling, acceleration and overall look of this car is amazing. Would recommend a 993 anyday, even if its 12 years old !

Pros: Handling, acceleration, sonority !

Cons: Noisy Cab, Humble interior miss some flash !
