I have had only maintenance repair costs. This is a wonderful handling vehicle and runs smoothly and very quiet. I wish I could buy another one but sadly because they last it is not made. My garage told me to run it until it falls apart from salt damage. His comment they dont make them like this anymore.
The vehicle has the sun roof and is fully loaded. Very advance for the year.

I love this van. I've loved since I picked it
up second hand in '99. It has one quality that
makes you forgive a lot of other faults, the
Nissan 3.0L Maxima V6! While low on HP
compared to modern contemporaries, the van is
silky smooth. Like many Fords,it has some
electrical issues that have been present most
of the time I've owned it. The fold and slide
seat was innovative for its time, the removable
bench is heavy and cumbersome. Its better than
removable seat vans, but not nearly as handy as
a fold away seat. The third seat slides
forward to replace the 2 person bench to make a
5 seat hauler. Integrity has been a problem
since the van crossed the decade mark, but it
has been very durable so far. Rust is becoming
an issue, but the van is 15 years old. Water
leaks have been a problem as the van ages.
Handling is still very good, the van hauls
people and cargo well and is a good light duty

not much to say here im not one for vans really especially ne ford related products. the only good thing about this van was the after market DVD player we installed along with a decent sounding system to go with the DVD. sumhow tho the van is till holding together after 330000 sum kilometers...Feb 07, 2008

Some sort of valve controller I think.
I have a 1996 Mercury villager there is a small circular piece of equipment on the firewall that has a vacuum hose coming out of it but I cannot figure out where it is connecting to it does not hook into the EGR valve system so it seems. It seems to be some sort of vacuum device.

Car heat wont work. What is the cause of this? How do I fix this?
The heat is turned on but there is no warm/hot air coming thru the vents. It is ice cold. How do address this problem. Where do I look for the problem (hood, dashboard, etc.) and what might it possible be the cause of this.
