911 Is A "dream Machine"....everyone Wants To Have One... — I Like its beauty....and acceleration....You will feel proud to own this baby....I bought this beauty in 1998 and has been on the family since then....Both kids used it during their MBA studies (or fun time?) and loved it.... Dislike - High maintenance cost..... too difficult to work on - DIY out of question... Overall I can say this beauty is priceless..... can't look at wallet all the time....live with proud spirit....and don't worry be happy....

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great looking sports car....the  ICON for Porsche Family....Head turner even at 19 years old

Cons: Maintenance cost - even oil change will put you back by 500 dolls....
Cooling is marginal - and you feel it in hot summers in Houston

This Car Is A Wonderful Toy. — I purchased this car for my wife on our 25th wedding anniversary. It has been a delight. We typically use it only during the summer months to tour upstate NY - particularly the wine trails. It has never let us down and is viciously fast. My wife had used it for commuting for a couple of years but no longer does so and consequently it still has less than 80k on the odometer. You only live once.

Pros: Perfect condition. Beautiful red Carrara.

Cons: It has been reliable but when something does need to be fixed the cost is very high.

It's Like Being On Vacation — Loved the handling, control, speed, and sheer elegance and sleekness of it. The body style has all the curves of what a true sports car should have. When you take a rid in this car you understand why people rave about Porsche.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Drives like a dream.   Incredible handling.

    Cons: none

Love It! — Superb acceleration between 100 - 200 km/h, excellent high speed cornering, nice & precise Brembo brake. Excellent build quality, no repair needed for both interior and exterior. Cost of Ownership is quite high, she requires 12 liters of engine oil and comsumes 1 liter for every 1,000 km. Consumes a lot of gas!!!

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: "It wasn't created to be something for every one but everything to someone"

    Cons: Air-con is suck!

Very Good Car — the power of the engine was endless. I would recomend this car to a proper car guy. The 993 carrera is a very fast, reliable porsche. the black on black version is very rare to find. it is a fun car to drive in around small streets and fun to go on highway.

    Pros: fast, good handling

Cons: bad gas mileage, too new to customize engine

The Most Beautiful 911 And Best Air Cooled 911 Ever! — I owned a 993C4S a few years ago and whilst looks-wise, with it's pumped up rear haunches, it was even more gorgeous, that car was nowhere near as nice to drive. This one handles, rides and steers as well superbly, combined with vault like build, wailing flat 6 and sheer speed....intoxicating :-)

Pros: looks, build, engine, speed :-)

    Cons: running costs

The Everyday Supercar — This was the 993, last of the air cooled 911s. I'd have one over a 996 but the 997 is where my money would go.

Pros: Flat 6 motor provides good power from low revs & sounds great. Well built inside & out. Tasteful styling. AWD grip, handling, great brakes!

Cons: Some ergonomic flaws - haphazardly placed switchgear. Seating position slightly offset.

The Best All Around Classic Sports Car In The World ! — The 1995 Porsche Carrera 993 C2 is today one of the most favored sports cars in the world. Air cooled, powerful, built to last, and one of the most beautiful cars in the last sixty years. The 993 is the and best of Porsche's classic air-cooled six's. This car is going up in value faster than I can spend money on it. I drive my 993 to work daily and then can't wait to get out on the country roads on the weekends. What other sports car can deliver that kind of pleasure ? Other than regular maintenance and the odd oil leak it runs day after day without the underlying concerns that might keep lesser cars parked in the garage.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The best all around classic sports car in the world. It is powerful ( 285hp ), built with a quality that stands the test of time ( low maintenance costs ) ,handles like a go-cart, and goes up in value every year !

Cons: For an auto enthusiast with only the room for two cars, life is to short. I've always wanted to own a CL M-B, Bentley Continental R, and any Ferrari (456M ?) and I won't live forever.

If You Want A Real Deal You Must Have A 911 — Great looks from every angle , charcoal gray is my favorite color on this model. Build quality is very good Germans are the best at that. Maintenance is price but what do you expect you don't drive a Honda or a Toyota .Performance wise very happy for that year lots of fun to drive.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: All is mechanical not to many sensors and software's that stop you to push to the limit.

    Cons: Price.
