La Nave — It is a minivan and it carries a lot of people. It looks like a spaceship and isn't the most appealing vehicle on the road but it sure is reliable and can keep on chuggin for miles and miles. It is roomy on the inside and the sliding side door is electronic which is pretty awesome. Pontiac is a very reliable brand and I hate to see that GM sold it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Tough and roomy

Cons: Not very pretty and not the best gas mileage.

Very Good, All Things Considered, Once You Get Past All The Obvious Surface Stuff — Performance- not the best accel. braking, pretty good, as well as handling Build Quality- NEEDS REPAIRS, well, its doing pretty well so far... KNOCK ON WOOD Appearance- Ran into a stone flowerpot, you tell me Cost of Ownership- It isn't an aircraft carrier if thats what you're asking Definitely not fun to drive

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It was pretty good before it was 15 years old, and it has stood up fairly well

Cons: I honestly can not think of any... Obviously you don't want to run any car into the ground

Awesome Truck/van To Own — I love my Pontiac Trans Sport...Awesome for driving winter or summer..I have a 3800 engine so the performance is awesome. Looks like a spaceship..with the plastic body no fear of rusting..ndercarriage needs to be rust proofed like any other car. There is a problem with the GM keycode..if anyone has a GM doorlock system it can open the power side door or unlock any of the doors..only problem I have found. I have had my moneys worth out of this truck. I get awesome gas mileage with mine..maybe because I keep it well maintained.

Pros: low maintenance great fuel consumption

Cons: GM keylock codes

Electrical Problems — when I purchased the van. The engine ticks and the electrical seems to be on the fritz. the running lights turn when they feel like it and and door locks lock on their own sometimes and unlock.mileage on highway is not that bad. In town is pretty bad.Turning radius is pretty small.need a lot of room to turn around. Windshield wiper design is pathetic.

Owner for 1 years, 0 months

Miles Driven per Year:6,000

Pros: very roomy.easy to clean.nice selection of options.

Cons: van ticks. electrical sucks. and engine hard to get at.

Pontiac Trans Sport / Nike Sneaker By James

Back in the day, this car was cool looking, but in retrospect, looks like an old Nike sneaker. Despite it's 'cool-back-in-the-day' look, it was built very cheesily. All plastic body panels made for a ... Read More
