The 1995 Nissan Altima got a few cosmetic changes for the model year, including a new grille, tail lamps, and wheel covers.
The 1995 Altima came in four trim levels: the base XE, the midrange GXE, the sporty SE, and the luxurious GLE. All Altimas in the lineup shared a 2.4 liter, 150 horsepower four cylinder engine. Fuel economy is 21/29 mpg.
Drivers who like the 1995 Altima say its because of the car's reliability and affordability. Some drivers have had problems with the paint quality, and others say it can be tight for taller drivers and passengers.

This is the one car we used on most cross-island drives around
Luzon. Manila to Bicolandia, Manila to Ilocandia, and the
almost legendary trip over the top Ilocos to Pagudpud to
Cagayan Valley. All these trips it showed great acceleration
and speed. Good power. Great comfort. Fun to drive!Nov 17, 2009

This is my first car and it has to be crappy becuz I have dinged it up quite a bit at first, any parent who gives there child a brand new car for there first car is nutz. This car actually runs like new and purs like a kitten when starting up, I actually think its sexy..lol a 95 with about 195,000 miles on it and still going strong, plus it saves gas, 30+ mpg and the car was 1,500 bucks. its a good starter car and will last forever ir u maintain it like regular checkups at the shop, I heard that these cars can last up to several hundred thousand miles if kept in good condition. The appearance is unique, if u get a 95 altima, i suggest trying to find a tan/gold color one since it looks the best, other colors like white or green or red I've seen looks crappy. Sep 20, 2008

Well I bought the car to get back and forth to work. I think it needs an idler pulley but I am a bit Lazy at the current time and the race car takes up the garage. So until then it has to wait. Maybe some day I will do the bidy work tooAug 08, 2008

Love the engine though it was not 100% when I bought it. I can feel it's once lingering "special edition-ness" when I go for city driving.May 17, 2008

Everyone says that Nissan makes the most reliable engines ever; and they weren't lying. My mom still drives this, and even with its 175,000 miles on it, I've never had to repair it (myself or for her). The paintjob's clearcoat seems to have suffered, and that may pose rust problems in the future, but it's a very comfortable and sound car otherwise. Despite its reliability, it suffers a little in fuel efficiency as compared to the other 4-cyl sedans that I've owned.Mar 26, 2008

Very reliable, great size inside and out. I loved this car and took care of it, sold in back in 2004. I would definately own another Altima, newer of course.Mar 10, 2008

z-3 fenders, angel eye headlights, neutron r type exhaust, carbon fiber hood, racing clutch, brembo slotted cross drilled.... She handled, and stopped on a dime, but only being a 2.4 the high 15 seconds she ran were not that impressiveFeb 13, 2008
After installing a replacement distributor. I read I need to check my timing. Not quite sure the correct or proper procedure. Some says disconnect the idle sensor and some says need not to. Where is the idle sensor located? Where is the idle adjustment screw located? Label the hood: 700rpm @ 20 degrees. Crankshaft pulley location is something else.
Hi someone cut my pigtail off to my distributor on my 95 nissan. I went to a junk yard and got another one but the wires are not the same color. Do this matter
this firt happened when I stopped at a stoplight and when I try drive off the car would not rev or respond to the accelerator. It idles normally but It just wont rev or accelerate when the gas pedal is pressed. It is a 95 altima 4cyl with a 150000 miles. Ayn ideas of what could be causing this will be appreciated.
