1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSReview

My "mid Life Crisis" Car — I like everything about the car minus back seat leg room and the amount of repairs needing to be done. As with any older car it needs repairs, they dont seem to be too costly, but its one thing after another. As far as the look of the vehicle its pretty! And options to Make it prettier are 1000s of ideas. Overall i love the car Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Daily commute, it is a great driver and not expensive to repair. It looks sleek and i get alot of compliments on it Cons: There might as well not be any back seats cuz there isnt any leg room ![]() Looking for a Used Eclipse in your area?CarGurus has 149 nationwide Eclipse listings starting at $2,555. |

Awesom — I love the way the car rides and runs (when it is running). A con is that the back seat is not meant for a college girl to be taking people to parties, but that can be good too :). Overall the car is great and I am anxiously waiting to fix it so that I can get to school and my softball games. Came with a special gift...a broken windshield that looks like came from a softball. Says the car is for me! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Love the car! Cons: Not working right now :( |

Ladys Love It — love this car. Easy to maintain if you know what you are doing. the only thing that is hard to do is the timing belt to be honest. i am painting it royal blue. it was originally bascayrean green pearl which is the rarest color, but its too girly. New; rotors and brakes, belts, injen short ram intake, radiator, hood scoop fiberglassed by myself, took off the hood-latch and put in hood pins, carbon fiber headliner, and a lot more. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: fun car to zip around in, quick as hell, easy to work on, lots of parts to improve its proformance. Cons: small backseats. |

Good Car — good comfortable cars love just driving around looks are nice and can be made nicer cheap performance isnt to hot stock especially with the base gs or rs with no turbo but they can be managed for not to much of a dent in your pocket Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: love these cars Cons: lil more power from stock with the non turbo and no mods |

Junk — JUNK complete JUNK i bought it when it was only 2 years old and it only lasted till it was 5 years old before all the suspension fell apart and the engine was knocking on it. I will never buy another Mitsubishi after having this complete piece of Junk! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: It wasn't bad to drive when it wasn't broken Cons: Money Pit very poor design suspension was not designed well at all |

Great Car For The Price. — This is my third Eclipse, 2nd turbocharged one. When in the right hands, these cars can be very economically and reliably enhanced to become a very quick, fun car to drive. Unfortunately, most turbo Eclipses have been abused, poorly modded, and left in rough shape. My performance mods to this car include a Dynomax turbo-back 2.5" exhaust, full K&N Cold-air intake with short-ram intake, large front mount intercooler, Walbro 255LPH fuel pump, short-throw shifter, and a manual boost controller set at 12psi. Appearance mods include smoked taillights, LED interior lights, custom painted rims, tinted glass,a-pillar gauge holder with Autometer water, boost, and oil pressure gauges, and custom Ralli-Art floormats. These cars have great build quality, the only mechanical issue I've had since I bought it was a fuel pump replacement, which I upgraded to a Walbro. The cargo room is astronomical! I can fit two white water kayaks inside with the back seats folded down and no passenger. There isn't really any room for a passenger in the back seat. Aftermarket parts for these cars are surprisingly cheap and numerous. Pros: The performance for the money can't be matched. Cons: Its front wheel drive. |

The sound is wonderful is a music for engine lover and the power is here. when i use my turbo boost i am the king Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: high hp, torque, handling Cons: low ride (bumper, frount mouth intercooler) |

Handling is fantastic . I love DSM's always will Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: it's a dsm Cons: bu mper |
