1995 Kia Sportage EX 4WDReview
For What It Is It's Just Fine — As an American your putting a big target on your back if you drive a flashy car. All the Asian automobile are here as well as Ford and GM. Driving a new car would bring undue attention to myself and family. At home we have a Securty Guard that costs less then the ADT Securty system I had back in Boston. So if I had to use it as a defensive weapon and crash out some attempted kidnappers I'd feel bad about losing the Kia but could go out and but another one the next day and not even think twice.
Primary Use: Family transportation
Pros: Living in The Philippines one needs a smaller car or SUV. The roads are narrow and bumpy. Our Kia is just right for where we live. It's a diesel and fuel here is expensive. About $1.10 per liter. Gas is even more. About $1.30 per liter. For a 20 year old SUV it suites us fine.
Cons: Can't think of any. It get about 11K's to the liter. The A/C is ice cold and when we go to visit my wife's brother in the mountains the 4X4 comes in handy.
