Great First Vehicle — The car looked great for what it was. With the 15" polished aluminum wheels really made it look sportier than it was. It was comfortable for two adults but putting anyone in the back was a pain (loaded trunk made it feel heavy in the back). It was built like so many other Honda's. Flawless craftsmanship, everything worked for as long as I owned it and it did phenomenal on gas. Long highway trips saw over 30mpg, around town varied between 20-26 depending on driving habits. Repair costs were cheap, just had to avoid the dealership. Most common expenses were tires, oil, fluid top offs. Accelerated decently for a 4 cylinder, braking was great because car was so light, and it handled well for being a bargain basement two door. The steering was responsive and the body roll was predictable. Safety was an issue because it was a really small two door car, with only front airbags. It was fun to drive around town but wouldn't want to carve any mountain roads or a road trip over 1-2 hours.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fuel Economy, Low Maintenance, Cheap to maintain, good looking for a Honda

Cons: Back seat too small for adults for more than 15 minutes, four cylinder wishes it was powerful but really wasn't.  Manual seats...

Nice Dd — Had the car for 4 years, got me back and forth to work everyday with little problems. Engine finally gave out at 180k miles. I'd blame lack of good maintenance by previous owners as the cause. Had planned to rebuild engine but sold car instead.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Car was fun to drive, huge aftermarket means car can be as nice as you want all depends on how deep your pockets are. Good gas mileage, one of the best looking generations.

Cons: Needs more torque/power,

Good First Car — it is just the standard 95 civic with a 1.5L 4 cylinder motor in it with 2 12" JL audio subwoofers in the back, so basically its little go and a little show. All and all i still love this car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I love everything about this car

Cons: not very fast:/

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: great platform to build on

It Gets Me Where I Need To Go — It has been a great car. I just hit 200k miles and it is still running great. Average gas mileage is about 28mpg. Inexpensive to own and maintain. It is by no means a sports car but with the manual transmission it is still somewhat fun to drive.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Reliable, affordable to own

Cons: It is an 16 year old model

Does The Job Well. Could Use A Turbo B18 And Refinements — A most cars me --> B |gas| slow in low rpms, passing power in the city at high rpms = fun, cheap to own, easy to modify, buy stick!, reliable, be wary of rear fender rust, if you like your bumper cover.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: cheap reliable modifiable

Cons: theres cooler cars
