the motor in that truck is indestructible. the only thing i didn't like bout that truck at first was the box. so i changed it. lol. it was a easy truck to drift with and it wasn't bad on gas.

the V6 was the best part. Add on the air shocks and larger brakes and it was quite the mini hauler

It's all good..No complaints to speak of!! Picked it up used, as a 40% basket case---tuneup, oil change, 4 shocks, tires and instrument cluster needed to be replaced.put in less than $1000, which is really nothing these days, especially when brought to a shop for some of this. Wax and cleaners and tons of elbow grease made the difference.

Getting rust spots, hole in the exhaust, acts up, doesnt like to start ing the winter. Has a bed liner, custom floor mats, gets me home even when it is out of oil. Lots of fun to drive even through mud holes, great truck to take hunting. The love of my life.

I can't complain much. Truck has 170,000+ miles and is still going. Tranny is a little weak, but other than that.

i've only had it for a few weeks but it only cost me $700. I haven't had any crazy problems with it and neither did the previous owner. i recommend it to anyone who wants decent gas mileage out of a truck. but only the 2.2 liter 4 cyl. The tranny shifts smooth and i haven't had any problems with the clutch yet. so it's an awesome first truck...it's a chevy

its a truck. you haul stuff, no more than one person to talk to and no car pooling! what else is there to say ? it gets you from point a to point b. no problems. it does what a truck is supposed to.

It's a great little truck. I get better gas mileage than my mom gets with her car.

V8 swap! 305 with Turbo 400 transmission and posi Dana 44 rear.

If you want to understand why the Motor City went bankrupt, look no further than this truck. Yes it is still running in damn good shape which means the men and women working on the assembly line at the time took their job seriously. However, the look of the truck is horrendous and the design of all the engine components makes the simplest mechanical task a mission.

Lousy fuel mileage but acts as if it is a 4x4 V6 low gears in manual trans can pull just about anything. 2.2L 5speed manual with low gears, roomy front seat not so much in the back seat has the fold down side seats not comfy don't know what Chevrolet was thinking

I dislike that its not extended cab or 4 wheel drive. And that it doesnt have 20s on it yet. But by the first of the year it will have those. Its great on gas and has plenty of power from the lil 4.3 vortec.

Runs good, looks like it had a deer jump out in front of it though. (wink, wink). It's a great vehicle, outside of it's looks. An vehicles are terrible investiments, when you are buying them for frequent high mileage trips. And it's not worth fixing up. because the way it runs now, is just as good as if I went out bought another.

It rides real nice, but it has a bit of an accelration problem. Definatly not something you would want to race, but overall its a grand old truck. It is a very fun car to drive, if your a truck person, buy it.

It does not have as good acceleration as a 6 cyl. would obviously, but it does well. I expected it to have better gas mileage, but I guess since its a four cylinder 2.2 it has to work harder to get places. I like the way it handles- not too touchy. Parts are pretty cheap for it. The only thing I have had replaced is the head gasket.
