being only a two wheel drive and almost out doing every other truck i have ever seen or driven that says something about it and it makes a good work truck, play toy, and camping vehicle

Awesom — I never thought I would own a truck. Choosing this one, made me appreciate another type of driving. --I have owned mostly sport cars and mostly convertibles. Also, I was never accused of driving 55. This truck made me appreciate the backroads and country side.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Maintenance, Power, Reliability and Appearance.  This truck has the best and most popular engine in the industry. 350 5.7 Liters. Economical, easy to maintain. Parts are inexpensive. Even if you are living on a budget, there is no reason for not maintain this truck running like a timex. This truck has a fantastic value and excellent quality. Best visibility that I have ever had in any vehicle. No blind spots. The window sticker states 14 city 18 hwy mpg. I set the cruise control on a long trip I actually got 20.1 mpg. --of course, the truck was tuned up, new fuel filter, new plugs, wires, and 93 octane gas.

Cons: Trucks like this cannot be parked in areas where they are going to be stolen. When travelling I always went through the expense of paying for parking, and sometimes I would pay for two spaces so I would not get any dings on the paint

Champ :-) — There is nothing about this car that i did not like. Leather seats, great interior room. It gets up and moves with some slight mods to the performance of the vehicle. It is a truck and i treat it like one and it keeps asking for more. Great vehicle.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: I have had to replace the alternator since i purchased this vehicle in 2007. That is it besides the obvious maintenance parts. This truck has served me well. Very low maintenance costs and 1 breakdown which was a 15 minute fix.

Cons: Love the truck, Cant complain about anything.

Optimal Truck For The Optimal Driver — These trucks are sturdy, yet elegant. Being the proud owner of a Chevy 1995 c1500 I can honestly say that this truck has classical curves with that nineties flare. With an aluminum front, and fiber glassed back. The c1500's are great trucks for those that need a small, yet powerful truck. These trucks are easily customizable, and look good no matter what path you decide to go with it (lifted, dropped, etc)

Pros: sturdy, reliable, and powerful. This truck is the lesser of the 1,2,3500 series, and can still meet all expectations. It has the power when needed, and has never let me down before. Another great perk is finding parts for these trucks are a breeze thanks to interchangeable  parts.

Cons: gas mileage

Reliable — I love ths truck. By all means, it isnt built for speed and to be a race truck. This truck was built work. Its a tough, reliable, fun little truck. I like the look of it, and the fuel mileage isnt horrible. When you drive it sensibly you can get 16-18 mpg.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This is a fun and very reliable pickup.

Cons: That it has a 4.3. Not a ton of power.

Reliable — I dont see many 4.3 4x4 full size trucks. It has plenty enough power in this TBI v6. I love the simplicity of the throttle body, it's not the fastest vehicle out there but can cruise at 80 if i want to.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Great Truck

Cons: Needs things like door pockets

Beast — Awesome, wanted a lifted older truck and so i chose this one and couldnt be happier. has not gotten stuck handles well for a lifted truck and rides smoother for an older truck. still drive in the mud and snow every year.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Everything

Cons: gas mileage

Awsome Work Truck — great work truck, sounds good, not bad on fuel, looks good, good tires, pulls anything, great 4x4, 5.7 truck was fairly cheap, drove it home, passed safety, runs good, straight body, truck is fun to drive. truck could use some servicing, maybe a new motor and tranny, make it a new truck all over again, would be worth every penny

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: runs stong, pulls anything, nothing stops it, good ground clearance, but not stupid sounds goos, 5.7 enuf said,

Cons: has some milage, 311000 kms

Just Wish It Was A Vortec — It has more power than most TBI 350s but gets the same mileage No matter how nice i drive it i get about 13.5. It has 26XXXX miles so i've had to fix some rust by putting new fenders on it and ball joints and tie rod ends. Rides on Cooper ST Maxx 265/75/16 with aluminum rims. Dual Straights with 45s and Stainless tips

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Its one body style chevy did not screw up

Cons: wish it got a little better mileage since it is my daily driver
