The Sunbird That Will Not Die. — god performance for such a small/affordable car. great build quality for the era. super reliable. this car simply WILL NOT DIE! there are several little things wrong but nothing really worth spending a lot of money to fix. actually very fun to drive. We have had this car for 5 years and have not had to replace anything more than regular maintenance and a few cheap fixes. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Very spirited Cons: kinda sucks on ice very small back seat |

A Great Car — I loved this car a lot. It was a beautiful aqua green color with a manual transmission. ABS brake system. This was the first car that I learned to drive a manual transmission in. This may have been the reason why the clutch went out on it, but I really think it was because the previous owner didn't take very good care of it. When I bought it, it had stuck on candy and food all over it, and there was change stuck everywhere you can imagine, including the air conditioning system, where I bet there is still money in there now. Gas mileage was excellent, which is good because I put a lot of miles on that baby going basck and forth between La Crosse and Mauston, Wisconsin. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: FUN to drive Cons: Starting to rust pretty good. |

Great For First Time Drivers — this car gets 32 miles per gallon and its got cushioned seats that kinda curve with your body and its good for a first time car and the maintenence is very easy cause its modern engine and not all high tech and the performace is fairly decent Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: good gas!!! Cons: not built for speeders and lead foots |

Ok, But We Could Get Something Better — needs lots of work still- body kit ( cavalier) and paint in 2010, interior needs to be redone. badging put back on. good miles, already cost a small fortune in fixing it. wish it was bigger because of the kids though. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: need a way to get from point a to point b Cons: can cost a good amount of money, harder to find parts for |

Sunbird — It was the 2.0L 4 cylinder. It had its problems, most because it was old, but it did what it was supposed to do. A rear-ender accident from a Ford F550 totaled it, needless to say, it was the first car that I drove on a regular basis. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Fuel-efficient, had some pep, was in good shape until accident Cons: It was old, and it was in the shop a lot for new parts and maintenance |

The Bird — amazing gas mileage terrible performance but handles pretty good and doesn't look to bad has a alright body appearance but the interior breaks down really fast other then that it hasn't made me put to much money in to it and is a very fun car to drive when it is in a 5spd Pros: gas mileage Cons: bad preformance |
