I was pleasantly surprised of the features of this vehicle, as it is a 1994. that said, it has all the features and more, than I expected. Excellent value, as it has only 21,900 original miles, as advertised. The car was not missing anything. Same year other similar models would be; Chevy Camaro, Pontiac Formulas, and T/As. |

I Like The T-tops And The Styling. — Earlier generations of the Firebird were made better and more relyable. I like the T-Tops and the styling. With after market Corvette wheels can be a head turner. Power to spare when it's tuned up and running properly. Not a good car for slick roads. Big blind spot. T-Tops come off/on and store easily. Never had a leak. Pros: T-Tops, styling, stock audio system, Cons: hard to diagnose or do it yourself repairs or even tune-ups on. These cars have problems with their electric windows motors, switches, etc. Original manufacturer no longer exsits so some new parts are hard or impossible to find. Some used parts are also rare and expensive. |

Firebird — a fast sports car. quick acceleration, good breaking, very good handling, not the easiest to work on the engine. leather interior, t-tops, checkerboard tail lights stock rims. 12 - 13 mpg. not made to drive in rain. burns rubber easily. overall a blast to drive! Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: its fast! Cons: hard to work on engine |

Great Car — Drives strong, sounds like a beast, no rust at all, looks great, and is a great muscle car. You can hear it from down the block and it can nevr be stopped. TRUE AMERICAN MUSCLE. THE GREEN BEAST. THE END Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: EVERYTHING Cons: TTOPS leak and it stalls sometimes cuz it needs new spark plugs and fuel filter |

Budget Priced Sports Car. — I love this car! I always have been a firebird nut. It only has the v-6 3.4l, but the 160 horse power seems fine. It has been a very dependable car. I have 208,000 miles on it with only minor issues. My only main issue is with the digital egr valve. The check engine light will come on when i let off the gas, and start coasting. Had it checked out, and it was the egr valve. Put on a new one with gasket, and cleaned the carbon out of the ports. Reset computer, but the check engine light still comes on. The car runs great, so Iam not going to worry about it anymore. Has a small oil leak, but hey after 208,000 miles i can live with that. Sure i rather have the Trans Am, or Formula, but with the gas prices these days i am happy with the 27 mpg hwy with the v-6. I get plenty of looks, and compliments. There are so many mustangs out there that nobody really pays attention to them anymore. Since the Firebird was discontinued in 2002 they are becoming more rare to see them, so they get more attention. The body style grabs attention more then the boxey mustang. I like to see a mustang get to 200,000 miles with the few minor repairs that i have had with my 1994 firebird. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: style, reliable, handling, audio Cons: egr valve probelms |

Unique Car Experience! — So I recently bought a Pontiac Firebird 1994 with a 3.4l engine. It's an amazing car, but I already found out that repairs and parts are quite expensive in the Netherlands... Performance: The performance of the car is nice...it accelerates just fine and because it's such a big and heavy car with rear wheel drive, the handling on the road is in my oppinion perfect. But to be honest, I drove a Nissan 100 NX before this car, so that just makes a big difference...Braking is good, but the pedal (like all other pedals as well) is a bit tough...maybe I'm going to ajust that... Build Quality: I had this car like a few months and it suddently broke down...after 6 weeks, they made some unnecessary repairs, like changing the time chain and the time chain gears, spark plugs and -wires, but still wasn't running smoothly. Finaly, a US-Car specialist changed the fuel pump unit, replaced 2 spark plug wires and reset the computer and the car was repaired! Now I have to repair the muffler and cath, because they've been broken during the engine malfunction. I also need to repair the heatingsystem; it's only blowing hot air, no matter if you turn on the airco. Appearance: The exterior of the car is one of the reasons I fell in love with it. The lines of the car are amazing, esspecialy when the headlights are down...it's aerodynamic correct! The interior is nice; you have a good overview of all the buttons on your dash board and the clockworks are easy to overview as well. Clear clocks, with both mph as km/h. The only thing which disappoints me is the condition and choice of fabric for the seats...I wish it was leather, would be much nicer in my oppinion. But on the other hand, the seats are marvelous to sit on. Cost of ownership: Well, as I said before, it isn't very cheap to repair or change parts. Recently the repair costs were like (converted from € to $) $2500,- and still need some small repairs... Gas mileage? I don't know, but as long as I get in and out of the car with a big smile on my face, I really don't care how much gas it uses. Fun factor: For me, 9/10. It has the looks, it has the comfort, it has the sound of power (though it would be nice to have some more hbp) and it's a head turner in The Netherlands...3 words: Unique Car Experience! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Amazing looks, nice handling, great sound Cons: high maintenance costs in foreign country's |

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: its awesome lol Cons: optispark |
