Fun To Drive. — Ford in drag, but works for me. Very good gas millage. The 3.0 is smooth with great highway. The 4.0 is the one to get, but is hard to find.ride. Easy to find Mazda/Fords parts but hard to upgrade that Mazda grill and lights.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Reliability, Ride quality

Cons: Power

This Is My Truck. — Great small pick up. Built by Ford so you cant go wrong there. It gets pretty good gas mileage, around 20 in the city and about 25 - 27 on the highway. Its ok to drive however, being lowered the suspension is really hard.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It looks pretty dope.

Cons: No power... Factory 98hp

If I Had Not Had To Replace Engine, If Accessories Worked, I Would Love It. — Power window does not operate, interior lights & outside light above rear window do not work-had to take out fuses they will not go off. Owned car since 1994, dealer car, had 5,000 miles on it. Now has between 47 & 49,000 on it. Even w/that low mileage had to replace engine about 4 yrs ago. Outside trim started fading/discoloring within yr of purchase. Contrary to what I marked below for primary use, truck only used now and again for casual driving & to haul items could not haul in car now & again since as a washer, load of mulch, lumber to long for car, etc.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: paint still great, power

Cons: accessories, faded outside trim, had to replace engine

The 94 Mazda B4000 4x4 — I paid the normal price for the truck. Overall it is a good truck performance is normal for a truck. It's my first midsized 4X4 and great to drive. It has the normal problems of a older truck but nothing I can't fix.

Pros: Small truck

Fun, Small, Little Power And Size, Great Gas Mileage — great economy truck, fun to drive, very little room and not much power in higher gears. overall lots of fun and well worth the time to work on.

Pros: Great gas mileage,

Cons: small size and motor, little power, not many parts available for customizing

Mighty Mazda — now this thing will run for ages, had some problems with the engine at 220k miles, so i had to get rid of it. had a 5 speed and took that thing everywhere, not all that great looking, but she was my baby. decent handling, could drive it up to 90 on the freeway and still be riding smooth, although the speedometer only went to 85. pretty decent gas mileage.

Why Anyone Would Use A Truck As A "daily Driver" Is Beyond Me! — I bought this truck at a weak period in my life. The Saab was giving me trouble, it was fall and there were no more 4x4 V6-powered Toyotas or Nissans on anyones lots, so driving by the Mazda dealer I fell for this truck. It's a "rebadged" Ford Ranger, and it was poorly designed and built junk. Mazda built much better trucks on its own back in the day.

Pros: Leather-wrapped tilt steering wheel, one-button engagement of 4WD and auto locking/unlocking hubs, fully loaded.

Cons: Bad premium stereo, rear-only anti-lock brakes, troublesome 4WD system, poorly designed climate control.

Comfortable And Reliable But Sluggish. — I got this truck 9 Mths. ago to replace an ailing '88 b2200. Overall it is a good vehicle, mileage is not the greatest but it is comfortable and as reliable as my old 2200. However, it falls off in performance I do not feel I have my full 160HP under the hood. After clearing some obvious problems (Check engine light was on)by replacing the delta sensor, EGR valve, plugging Vac. leaks and replacing the fuel pressure regulator it starts and idles well. Torque is good up to about 2200rpm beyond that it falls off sharply. A
