1994 Ford Crown Victoria Reviews, Pricing & Specs

This car is a tank. It has 170,000 miles on it and still going. Amazingly tough car, and very comfortable on the road. Only negative is the poor gas mileage, but no one buys one of these to save gas. Update: I sold this car with 188,000 miles on it, and it was still going. It's now with its third owner and shows no signs of dying anytime soon. If that's not an endorsement I don't know what is.Aug 06, 2010

Ahhh the crown vic... It handles like a tugboat, and in the right lighting conditions can make even the most experienced driver sweat about speeding around you. The V-8 is more than enough power for this thing really, but you don't really get a choice and after awhile you just get used to it and love it anyway. It always rides smooth, but it does tend to get old and start to have parts malfunction and need replacing. A lot of stuff in the steering column and dash are getting finicky and on their way out. Although I guess at this point, a lot more is going to go out eventually. But it gets me there, and she's my first.Aug 12, 2009

i love this car it's like a tank it's got a 5.0 litre and a 302 block (forged cast iron) cast iron heads , cherry bomb glass pack...performance-great IT'S LIKE A BULLET (thats why it's silver), build quality-needs trans tune up, appearence-it's a sleeper if i race her she doesn't look fast but when pushed...better stand back ladies and gents, appearence-i'd get new radio but other than that she's perfect, silvererish blue with burghandy felt interior, brushed alluminum spoked rims (stock) wrapped in general t/a's, owner ship gets like 15 or so mpg, fun factor-its a blast to driveJul 17, 2009

This car would absolutely haul balls. It seemed like the faster it went, the smoother the ride. Burned some perfectly good tires off with this beast. There was nothing like the look of surprise on my friend's face when I would pop the hood and show them the throbbing Cobra V8 under the hood. Unfortunately, the car had some problems. It was missing a hubcap from when my brother drove it and the cockpit had about as many creature comforts as a jail cell; crappy speakers and crappy radio, windows wouldn't roll down in mine, no cup holders, etc., but I absolutely loved this car. It saved my life, actually. I was in a race on an infamous road and made a huge mistake: I looked back and took my eyes off the road. Hit a bank going 100+. Stacked frame kept me in place. The handling was a bit numb. There was no play in the steering wheel, but there was just no feeling nor restistance when I went to turn it resulting in some twitchy results. Because of rust in the stacked frame, the chassis will creak when going over significant bumps, but this is nothing. I bought this car for 600 and sold for 700 (I'm a haggler). The car's appearance isn't bad. It's what you expect for a 94. The interior felt very plush and just about everyone who sat in it loved it. This was my first car and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that can handle it.Jun 05, 2009

performance wise the car is a monster. It has some of the best brakes that i have ever driven with. The acceleration is fast and powerful. Handeling however is bad since it has a broken strearing that will be fixed this year, but even with that, I never went off the road and could stay in a straight line. Build quality is a little rough. this car served its City and by doing so, it got a lot of miles and wear. the foors had rusted and have been replaced, And rust is starting to show here and there. it will need a hole new front end since the past owner had hit a deer with it. all in good times. The apperance on the car is great since the new paint job and lights. The cost of ownership is obviously a lot in repairs. but insurance and gas wise, the car is better than average. As for fun factor, This car is the best, it has a police package and the stearing is prety fun once you get used to it. I would recoment a car like this to anyone but this one is mine. Hoever the milage and the amount of work that needs to be put into it isn't for everyone. you need to love your car a lot to still be putting money into itMar 22, 2009
