Tis car has been my dream car since I first saw it as a child. It's unique and
powerful and constantly turns heads. I love driving this car, while its all wheel drive

It's the car that never breaks down and it turns head wherever I go.
Wonderful boxer 6-cylinder engine.
The fastest, most powerful, heaviest car I've ever owned, with automatic gearbox and all wheel drive, yet it's one of the most fuel efficient ones; incredible!Dec 17, 2009

Although I love my Subaru more, driving my dad's is fun occasionally. The handling and performance are excellent. It's a more rare Subaru that's not made anymore, so it's awesome to show off to guys who think they know everything about cars.Jun 25, 2008

Like the styling of the car (it can turn heads), and the performance is decent, provided by a 3.3 Litre horizontally opposed powerplant. The leather interior is comfy, and it's rarity is unmatched (one of 250-1000 of this particular model). Nonetheless, even the most basic of part can end up costing a fortune, if you can find it that is. Overall, a very nice car though.Dec 03, 2007

Road Hum
I have a hum (that seems to be coming from the left rear) -- it starts around 45 MPH and quits at around 65 MPH -- I took it to a Belle Tire store to see what they could tell me -- the sales person checked my tires and pointed out that the two front tires match but the back ones are each different. Now the sizes etc. are all the same but the manufacturers and the treads are different. He tells me this is not good for an all wheel drive car and that it's probably the cause of my HUM -- I'd just bought the car the prior week and all of the tires are in good shape -- I'd just missed the fact that I have 3 different tire treads patterns -- I'll go shopping for some new tires but my question is: How important is it for all of the tread to be the same for an all wheel drive car? learn more about the SVX --
I bought my SVX last week -- it only has 102,000 miles on it and seems to run quite strong. The power steering is hard / stiff and I think the pump may not be working properly. Is there a replacement impeller, or whatever Subaru calls the pump itself, available for a rebuild? There's a whine in the rear of the car between 50 (ish) MPH and gone by 70 MPH -- I think this is probably a wheel bearing but would like to hear from those who know about these cars than I do. I'm just getting started but hope to learn about and restore this car. The drivers side seat belt isn't working and neither is the cruise control. Cruise is probably a fuse but I don't know where to look for it. The seat belt issue is either the motor or maybe just off the track. Not sure and would welcome hearing about others experiences. Thanks Dan PS: the colors say to me that mine is a 25th Anniversary Car but I'll need to check the Vin. # and do more research to be sure.
