Japanese built, quality is excellent. Needs a bit more power but
brakes and suspension are excellent. Gas mileage is good. Fun to
drive yet easy to drive and good to learn in and also improve your

acceleration over 2700 rpm is great, appearance is fine...interior materials are great for its year,also equipments,short gear box is the best for fast driving,its very agile to drive dispite of its weight.id wish it was injected instead of using carburetor! Sep 30, 2009

Loved this car,fast reliable and nice looking too..Well it was the early nineties etc.
Great for cruising the long German Autobahns, or for just popping around the city.
Metallic green with full electric trim interior, well it is Japanese! and the performance was good too.
Had to get rid on my return to Blighty!!...Bloody fuel and running costs cripple you in London..Arse!!Aug 15, 2008

This is the 2.0L 5-spd, not the VR-4. But it is still a very nice drive. Free reving engine is torqy, but is lacking the power of the awesome VR-4. Very sleek styling inside and out. Far superior to the Australian built 2002 model.

1993, not starting. Replaced starter switch and added a new battery. Told to start after Eng. check light went out. Still nothing!!
1993 Hatchback, have trouble starting some time. New Battery installed, and new starter switch. There is now a clicking sound, lasting about a second. then nothing. Checked all the fuses, seems to be OK. Was told to wait till the ENG. Check light went out to start the car, STILL nothing. Please help???
