Not Sure — Slow Car, extremely reliable and very manly, can be expensive when you need to repair it, but it is so robust it never really needs more than a servicing! also good fun to get te back end out and the handling is as sweet as ever

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: comfortable given it's age

Cons: high spare parts costs

Mbz190e 2.6 — For a 17 year old car the German built 190E 2.6 Baby-Benz has stood the test of time with superior build quality, great performance, and efficient gas mileage averaging 23 mpg. These are qualities you don't find much in cars built today, including Mercedes-Benz. There are issues with this car, chief among them being the aluminum head which has been known to fail.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: tight handling, acceleration, gas mileage, suspension

Cons: older age continues to bring small repair issues, larger repairs when needed can be expensive

Baby Benz That Ruled A Generation — performance- mediocre, excellent build quality appearance is a bit dated now, fun factor is next to nil...ownership cost is quite good, hadnt had much repairs on it yet....typical post eighties over engineered Benz, though taking its toll on time.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Build Quality, safety

Cons: less power

190 E — Awesome car. Still does 0-60 in about 7 seconds. Superb exhaust note and great on fuel consumption. Doesn't cost a lot to repair. I paid $1.20 for spark plugs. Car is so fun to drive it could only be better if it were a stickshift.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: great fuel economy, fun to drive

Cons: size: its kinda small

Classic — a benz classic, reliable, well built, light on its feet, runs fast and has a classic look that is classic. its not particularly affordable to maintain. the braking is quite good good, Acceleration is ok, but the economy is very poor, typical you'd say!

Pros: good build, strong and reliable

Cons: bad economy, expensive to maintain, only old models available

Yet Another Blue 1.8l 190e — This is the fourth 190E I've owned. Although this car isn't the one in the picture (that was the one it replaced) it looks almost exactly the same, the only noticable difference being an aftermarket Avantgarde grille. The last one went to the scrap yard purely because some idiot brakedown mechanic fitted the wrong ignition coil which caused a shortcircuit that burnt out the wiring loom. A great thing about these cars is how well they're designed, which means that they are very easy to take apart and put back together. Consequently, having had nothing serious go wrong with the old car other than an electrical fire, I bought another (cheaper, and less well looked after) with the same engine and in the same colour, stripped the old one for any parts that were needed. Performance and handling are reasonable given the spec, fuel economy is also pretty good (especially compared to the 2.6L version I own!) at around 28-32 MPG around town, to 37-41 MPG for motorway driving. It's quiet and comfortable, quick enough in the city, though the 2.6L version really is much better for motorway driving.

Pros: Fuel consumption, handling, comfort, build quality

Cons: Not exactly rapid (especially compared with the 2.6L), slightly dated looking now

Great Old German Dtm Machine — At first glance, the 190E seems like any ordinary old Benz that is still roaming the streets, waiting to fall apart. However, these cars have a long racing heritage in the German DTMs back in the 80s and 90s. With a little bit of hard work, the squidgy feeling of the 190E can be easily eliminated and turned into a great track car.

Pros: Reliable, easy to work on, fun to drive, looks great with the right styling and taste

Cons: Working on the car drains the wallet, hard to work on due to aging chassis components such as bolts, underpowered
