Badass — This little truck is amazing. It has the 4.3L V6 and has a lot of get up and go. My truck was a beater, and still runs like hell. Its getting to the point of replacing components(like suspension, electrical) but for 19, almost 20 years old, thats not bad at all. The engine is amazing. I can run 0-60 in about 7 seconds in my little truck. Thats fast for a truck. Definetly recommended if you can find one for sale.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Power, dependable, small, MPG, Easy to work on

Cons: None

Best Vehicle I Have Ever Owned — minimal body rust, too many under hood extras, who needs wipers, or ac system, ive removed the entire ac system, wipers and all components, including wiper motor and fluid res, blower motor and all acc gone, solid fast light truck

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: if set right, its fun and fast, and it hauls a load

Cons: nothing really, i love my truck, more than u know

1993 Rear Wheel Drive Sonoma — Its not a bad truck, its fun to bomb around in. The worst thing about the truck is the fact that its hard to work on and matinence because of the small engine room. Also the box is really light, so if you have the two wheel drive you might have problems in the winter time. But that can be fix if you buy some sand bags and weigh down the box.

Pros: Nice light truck, gets around.

Cons: No Room under the hood, hard to work on.

A Very Deceptive Little Truck. A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing. — Bought this truck a few years ago to use around the farm. His towing capacity is awesome. I've had one round hay bale in the bed and a trailer on the back with another. Tows a 2 horse horse trailer with ease. Fun to drive; He's very fast. He has a 4.3 Vortec engine so plenty of power available. I didn't use the Sonoma very much but when I did, he started up first time, every time. This was the first truck I owned and I never wanted to have to buy another but I foolishly sold him for no good reason. :'(

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: He's not too big but he's got a lot of power. He's almost a classic and looks cute.

Cons: Bench seat is kind of uncomfortable.
