Good First Car — It was old and had its issues, but it was a good first car that drove. It was slow, the fuel gage didn't work, AC didn't work, sunroof broke and leaked, and sometimes the doors wouldn't open, but the engine and transmission always worked perfectly. It was my first car and it got me around alright. I bought it for $1,000 and after 3 years, traded it in for a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Reliable engine and transmission, good first car.

Cons: Old, slow, fuel gage didn't work, AC didn't work, sunroof broke and leaked, and sometimes the doors wouldn't open.

940 Gl — Solid structure in cluding Side impact protection System. Reliable- this car started every time even when sitting stagnant for three months. Comfortable- trim level for its age is top notch, heated seats sunroof, heated wing mirrors. Really tight turning circle at very low speeds. Not so good in the wet or corners!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: cheap to buy and hugely confortable

Cons: if you want good conering

I Love It! — i like that fact that it goes, goes, goes, and goes. i don't have to do much repairs, yeah, it looks like a piece of crap, but i absolutely love it, love it, love it, and will never give it up.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: color

92' Volvo 940 Gl — car was pretty slow and had too much weight for a 1.8 SOHC but took hits from accidents like a trooper and got ok gas mileage even with the tranny issues at 300K miles and although the car wasnt a chick magnet... it still got the job done reliably.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Strong and reliable

Cons: SLOW and UGLY
