I Love It For Life — performance - fast as hell, stops good, turns well build quality - 200 HP stock and capable of double that on stock bottom end = good. appearance - pretty cost of ownership - if this a concern dont get one, parts are expensive fun factor - very fun, dont get a ticket doubling the speed limit!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: it has a turbo and awd

Cons: no back seat

A Really Fun Car For Cheap. — I miss my little GS, it handled like it was on rails, it looked mean, and its was great on gas. the engine is indestructible, but the transmissions can be semi problematic, especially if you plan on tuning. all around a really fun car to drive.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: fun fun fun

Cons: transmission failure

Daily Driver Eclipse — It was a daily driver to work and back home. Totalled it when a girl pulled out in front of me but it got good gas mileage and had a little power to it. It did smoke like a chimmney toward the end and the exhaust fell off when i first got it though

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good on gas

Cons: SLOW

She's My Baby — I love that it's cute and of course a stick!! Easy to work on and get parts dirt cheap or steal from the junk yard. A very recognizable car--not many on the road like it.. She's a trooper ;P

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great on gas

Cons: Slow as hell

Pay To Play. — my 1g GSX AWD TURBO, I miss it. Great potential and Great handling. Big Aftermarket behind it,I have had three of the same motors, and cost is the only thing, Pay to play is the motto for this car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: AWD Turbo

Cons: DSM

Good Car If You Enjoy Working On Cars — Performance: Surprisingly good for a non-turbo automatic FWD 2.0L Build Quality: Not so good. It was on the road for three days before something broke, forcing me to take it back off the road. Appearance: I love the look of the 1G DSMs. It was in decent shape, but needed a little touching up. Cost of ownership: I wouldn't know. It only lasted a few days, so I would have to say the cost of ownership is high. Fun factor: Definitely high. Probably the most fun car I've driven (the Grand Marquis is a close second with the work I've done to it).

Pros: Handling and general performance and a great aftermarket

Cons: Reliability

Simply Put---cheap Style That Is Worthwhile!! — Performance- Somewhat snappy...but really needs stuff under the hood. Planning to do that later. In handling, this car was great. Took the highway onramp curve at 75 with no problems. The reccommended speed is 30. Build Quality- It feels sturdy enough, and things arent falling apart for the most part. Had to fix a couple things, but it wasnt bad. Cost- The mileage is wonderful! Ripping around town still gets me 40 or more miles per gallon! I'm going to have to do something about the seals and rings...it tends to burn oil when it idles for too long. After the engine warms up, though, it seems to be fine. Repairs have been easy and cheap---had to take care of the alternator and the lower coolant hose, and in total with manual labor it cost me about 100 bucks, and that was purchasing from Autozone. I looked online, and could have done it cheaper if I was patient enough. Body kits for this are unbelievably cheap---I can get a great one for 200-300 bucks! All other parts are easy to come by as well. Fun Factor- I'm not gonna lie---I've been majorly satisfied with this car. I think the only real problem is that it has no back seat, although we fit (comfortably) Chad and his girl in the back sprawled across the street. Not the most legal thing, but it was acceptable. It's comfy in the front seats, and cruising really isnt bad at all. I'd like a little more pickup, but it works for what it is now. Good for a coupe. Appearance- Honestly, I got a great deal. There are very minor dents in this one, and it looks great in white. The inside was in perfect condition, the material a crimson red that went very well with the seat covers I put on. It is wonderful! Overall, this has been a great car for me thus far. This would be my first official car (not including the Camry, which was my fathers) and I have learned quite a deal about maintaining a vehicle like this (which has been a piece of cake). I would easily reccommend it.

Pros: Great looking, great mileage, cheap and easy to find parts

Cons: Older car---requires some maintenance, pickup not top notch but reasonable, audio was crap

Beats Any Muscle Car — love it except the 4g63 needs alot of tlc and a good wrenching after track days but when you roll up to the light with a mustang and corvette and beat the crap outta them it makes it all worthit and the sound of a 20g makes me smile

Pros: fast loud and did i mention fast

Cons: if your not a mechanic stay away lmao dsms turning normal people into wrench throwing maniacs since 1989
