1992 Dodge Colt Reviews, Pricing & Specs
Write a review
The 1992 Dodge Colt, now available only in a 2-door hatchback, is little changed from the 1990 and 1991 models. Its 1.5-liter engine's 3-valve cylinder system allows it to reach up to 92-horsepower. 4-speed manual transmission comes standard, with an optional auto tran. The rear seats fold down to increase cargo space, and the wide, round body shape was designed to enhance leg room in the back.
While not in the least bit fancy, particularly in its options list, this is a great compact car for zipping around the city and for fuel economy-conscious drivers. Though some drivers feel the engine isn't peppy enough, others claim it is much better than other compact cars, especially when merging onto highways.
Above all, drivers sing the praises of the great gas mileage and the reliability of their Dodge Colts, but wish for more interior options.
