v6 -7M-GE motor automatic transmission, its rough interior seats and needs new power pannels for windows. roof window works fine, everything else works fine. blown head gasket, havent the time or money to fix it. dont wana just let it rot in my front yard, wanting to get at least 800 out of it im located in Coos Bay Oregon

I read a review at edmunds that discussed the car's head gaskets as being the car's achiles heel. That because the car is no longer made parts cost somewhere in the acura -- lexis range, and sometimes upwards of $1200. Is this true, should I try to plan for this supposed eventuality?
