Simple Fun To Drive Reliable And Affordable Convertible Sports Car. — Only time it has let me down is when the battery went dead. Had this car for about fifteen years without any other trouble. My first import car and I will never buy another American made car. I have owned a new Chevrolet pick up and even a one year old Corvette, the Miata has blown both away with purchase price, fuel economy, insurance cost, and reliability.

Pros: Looks great, Affordable, Fun to drive, Reliable, Good gas mileage, High resale value, Easy to wash, Easy to raise and lower convertible top.

Cons: Hard to get in and out of, lacks power, small trunk, small battery, 2 seats, no a/c, no power door locks, no power windows, and no power steering.

Cool Go-cart — Many have offered to buy but she is my baby. Love driving with top down. Od course she is not a speeder but cool car to drive. Want to add some houndstooth to her to make her a Roll Tide car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Nice running around town car.

Cons: Not enough storage if friends goes shoping with me.

Great Fun Convertable — The Mazda Miata can still be found with lower mileage for very reasonable cost. We purchased our 1991 SE with hardtop with 49k miles in late 2009 for $7,500 and that included delivery from Florida. The Miata is so easy to work on and the miata.net community is the most helpful of any car that I know of.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The most fun you can have with your cloths on!

Cons: Other large cars do not see it since it is so small. High Horse power cars try to race you, but this car is designed for great handling not for Speed.

Not For Hairdressers. — Needs wider wheels/tyres. Skids on braking because it's so light. Acceleration is quick, not just because of engine, but also short-shifting close-ratio gearbox. Beautifully agile. Sills can rust easily, requires regular top up of waxoil to keep it all beautiful. Find one with a hard top.

Pros: Handling

Cons: The hood never lasts

I Love It! — This Car is fun, from its handling, to th convertable top. I would recommend this car to anyone who wants a toy car to cruise in and maybe would want to put a little money into it. Get it and you will love it!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It is flat out fun to drive and i enjoy it every second i hop in it.

Cons: Not good for a family car seeing it is a 2 seater!

I Love It And I Think With A V8 Swap (like I Have Planned) It Will Be Even Better — Acceleration is ok but where this car excels in is in the corners. 4 wheel independant suspension really keeps it flat in the twisties. There have been only a few minor things to fix which is great considering that this car is about 20 yrs old. Gas mileage is great since it is only a 1.6L. I tell you though, even though it is not the fastest, once the sun shines and top is dropped, it is just a blast to drive around in. The ride won't beat you up either.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: No top and fun in the corners

Cons: Blind spot when the top is up and it can be hard to se out of if tall

Cheap Thrills - Better Than A Cheap Woman — Acceleration 0-62mph sub 7secs Braking - needs attention! Handling - sweet as a nut Interier is next for restoration Fun Factor - 10/10 Cost of ownership is not important... as most of the cost goes to up-grades and restoration and I would warrent those as "additional". By the time its finished, we're looking at over £15,000. But that's not the point is it? Its a passion, part of me and when is on the road, it will take on most cars. I'm always just under the limit... Because I want to keep it. I just love driving this car

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: as above

Cons: Needs more work! I will never be 100% happy

Awesome — performance - acceleration is good, braking is great, handling is good, top speed is awesome. Build Quality- No repairs needed, small rust spots behind both doors. Appearance- Standard look for now. Cost of ownership- very little Fun Factor- Fun car to have.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: fast

Cons: slow pick up

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: its a highway worthy go cart
