My First Car And Glad It Was A 91 Accord. — the 1991 Honda accord was a great car. the power windows worked great, the AC and HEAT is not an issue. The 5 speed manual transsmission is good and the blue color is nice. The paint did start to peel but nothing a bit of maintance can take care of. Brakes are good, the SOHC 1.8 liter engine is a bit weak. Would have rather had the H22 engine in this car. Stereo is easy to replace and the seats are comofortable. EASY EASY EASY to work on. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Great as a first car, easy to use 5 speed manual transmission. Cons: Lacks power. |

Not A Bad Car To Have If Ou Dont Need To Do Much — good car good on gas great handling nothing for power no top end no acceleration but never really had to slow down once you got it goin about 90 but i paid 50 bucks for it and sold it 4 months later for 150 so all in all good deal Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: low fuel consumption Cons: no power |

Good Commuter; Don't Try Much Else With It! — The early-90's Honda Accords are a very mixed bag. Not yet offering the V6 that the Accord is now known for, (Yes, McGuire.) the four-cylinder it was equipped with did a moderate job at keeping the car at pace. Its handling is also nothing particular to write home about. Where it does exceed expectations, however, is the durability and quality that Honda put into it. The particular one I had was tormented by problems up one side and down the other, but always managed to run once it was started (It had maybe a 2% failure-to-start rate). Even if parts were to fall off the car as you were driving, Honda parts are so cheap and easy to come by nowadays (With some parts even being swappable between models!), that the car's cost of ownership for a gear head is negligible. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Cheap, Durable, mostly reliable. Cons: Underpowered, not-that-cute, Honda Rust. |

? — The acceleration isnt that reat, but maybe after a new engine instead of this one with 200,000+ miles, it would help. The braking is very good, but some disk brakes in the back will help it even more. Overall, the handling is good. For the amount of miles, the repairs tht iv needed to do are not so bad. although things are slowly falling apart, the 18 yr old car is still in good condition. The only complaint i have about the interior design is that the seats dont have enough movement fowards and backwards. The styling for theexterior was pretty good. No complaints. This vehicle has a low cost of ownership. It gets good gas mileage and the parts are cheap and easy to come by. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: There are so many things i can do to personalize this car. Cons: Its OLD! |

Honda Accord — This has been a great car, I love it. The power is ok, but its hard to get it to hook up. This has been an expensive car for me, but it's worth it, and I hope to keep the car for a long time. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: interior, sporty looks, handling, easy to find parts Cons: expensive to maintain |

Would Have Been Nice New. — If I had it like 100,000 kms ago it would not have been so bad. pretty good get up and go but not as much at highway speeds. It looks decent when its nice and clean but its black so it gets dirty fast. 40mpg so im not complaining. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: SO RELIABLE, good mpg Cons: Old, regular, falling apart :( |

Mine — very dependable. Moderately good gas mileage and decent performance. definitely a car to buy when looking for a commuter. It can be fun to drive if some minor suspension work is done and some larger wheels with lower profile tires. Pros: gas mileage and dependable Cons: none |

Our Honda — Gas Mileage -- Awesome!!! Fun Factor -- Roomy, Heated Seats, Sunroof. Build Quality -- Takes a while for it to rust. Appearance -- Interior~ Wonderfully Comfy Exterior~ Looks big Costs -- Maintenance~ Easy to take care of. Fun to drive. 2 doors are better then 4.. Even though we are having an extra addition to our family, it will still be roomy enough Pros: Gas Mileage Cons: White Paint |
