It Gets The Job Done — Slow, ugly and amazingly fun to beat the crap out of and not care because luckily these cars practically go for free! 2.3L engine with a 3 speed auto wasn't cutting it though. It could have been better with either a 5 speed or a 4 speed Auto. Godd MPG though.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun, solid, generally dependable

Cons: Slow, ugly, unrefined

My New-ish Car — i just got this car because i crashed my explorer. it runs hard and had very low miles for the year of the car. the air condition needs to be charged but since its fall i don't really need ac. the car only cost about $1,200, and so far is well worht it.

Pros: it runs

Cons: it not a bogatti

Ford Tempo — Not too bad for a first car... i blew the lifters on the motor within 600 miles. Horrible build quality. Ford cut corners on every end. Really really bad performance. Zero to Sixty took about 16 seconds. I never concidered buying a ford since. But who can complain... it cost me only 600

Pros: cheap

Cons: unreliable, junk when it was new, junk when it was sold

Ubaz Pwned? — I enjoy the fact that this car has 4 wheels and it moves. I hate that even if I floor it, it goes 0-47 in about 15 minutes. Slowest acceleration urvur. I just drive it around because it's a car. Fairly good gas mileage, but who knows if the meters in that car actually work. The sound system is what the normal community would call an "epic failure". I can't even see out of the windshield, that's how dirty it is. Even after 2 car washes and a scrubbing at a gas station. 'Nuff said.

Pros: It moves.

Cons: Everything besides it moving.

Been Very Dependable — I picked up my tempo real cheap 3 years ago. I have had to do some work to it since but overall I am very pleased with the car. It has never left me walking which is the most important thing.

Owner for 3 years, 6 months

Miles Driven per Year:15,000

Pros: good in snow. Always starts well.

Cons: fuel mileage could be better.

The Tempo — I found my car in the wholesale lot at work with no damage, leaks, or problems of any kind with 50,000 miles on it for like 800 bucks. I bought it to use as a winter car/daily driver, and it's been nothing but good to me even though it's a Ford. I've driven it about 6,000 miles since I bought it in October. What I enjoy most about my car is that next to basic maintenance and fluid checks it never gives me problems. The exterior is all scratched up and the paint is faded, but it gets me where I want to go. I would improve the acceleration if I could because that thing is so slow.

Pros: Cheap, low maintenance, low miles, generally comfortable, power locks, tons of trunk space, room for passengers, high visibility, compact, easy to maneuver, cruise control, good on gas

Cons: No cupholders, no storage console, slow to accelerate, difficult to maintain high speeds (the speedometer only goes up to 80), automatic seatbelts

Reliable Cheap Transportation With The Bonus Of Awd — It is not a very fast car but this one might be the fastest Tempo in the area I live in. Easy to work on. Parts are cheap to buy.No matter how much this sits around my place if another car is giving me trouble and I can't drive it. The Tempo is always ready to go. Very reliable in the snow around My Hood were I live.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Very reliable good fuel mileage car. Does great in the snow.

Cons: These cars are not very well liked by the average person
