Creepy — Well, just got this one for about 4 months but the transmission dies on me, the doors where in pretty bad shape has the interiors has everything elses, idk why someone would like this car, well it was good in gas mileage, and well we share 1 or 2 moments lol not a total piece of crapt but almost... Das Auto :d — Old arthritic and beaten every day of its life since 1990, complete with a gutless tired old 200k mile 9a 4cyl 16v that is steadily pissing oil out of every seal/gasket. I would like a VR6. Basically its a rusted and dented junkyard worthy piece of crap.. but even in its current condition, i love it and its fun to drive :) Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Happy little Go-kart Cons: Zee Germans |

After 20+ Years . . . I'm Still Loving This Car! — I bought this car in Feb 1990 - YES, that's right, 1990. And now it's March 2010 and it's still in continuous use. What a work horse!!! It is still fun to drive, performs and handles well, heats up good and fast in the winter, but the 185/55 R15 81V tires aren't too good in snow, so I have an SUV for that. Calypso green still stands out and looks great. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Fun, Reliable, Seats, Heater, Everything! Cons: Insurance Cost |

My Wolfie — Its a 1990 Jetta wolfsburg edition. It has a 2.0L 16v engine. Puts out about 130 whp. Its pretty small for a 4 door. Its a 20 year old car so it has its flaws. Its a blast to drive, No power steering so its kinda like a go-kart. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Its Light, has alot of bolt on opitions, and its a 2.0 16v. ITS GERMAN!! Cons: Its 20 years old. |

My 1.8t 1990 Gli — I love my 1.8t I put in it! drilled breaks and all disks is a must, and with the coilovers it handle's well the only complaint I have is the one wheel peels, going to get a lsd diff soon Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: its fast, and gets great milage Cons: its pretty ugly, but thats kind of a plus, no one expects it to do anything |

1990 Vw Jetta Gl — 19 year old silver vw getta gl, 5 speed, blue interior. accleration is good, handles like a dream, power steering belt squeeks in tight turn-arounds. sun roof is fabulous especially at night. looks fine. sound system speakers are factory with jvc cd and tuner and sound great. i'm attempting to keep gas milage down by keeping rpm's around 2000 when upshifting so with that gas milage is good. my jetta is fun, i love vw's would'nt trade my jetta for any american or japanese thing... Pros: fun factor, handling, gas milage. Cons: frount bumper |
