The Best — The classic Baby Benz. One of a kind in appearance. No hesitation, great acceleration. I wouldn't trade it for the world. It only cost me 1500, and is an absolute blast to drive. If anybody was ever thinking about buying one you should. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: It's my first car Cons: Absolute nothing ![]() Looking for a Used 190-Class in your area?CarGurus has 15 nationwide 190-Class listings and the tools to find you a great deal. |

Never Again — Unfortunately, having this car was one endless nightmare. Its engine would stop if i ever passed through water during winter, and the temperature of the engine would go as high as starting to release smoke during summer. I would never touch a Mercedes after that experience. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Nothing Cons: The radiator's cooling system. The dynamo's capability to handle wet days. |

It Would Make A Great Collectible Only To Be Brought Out For Cruising. — for the year the performance was great, the build quality was amazing it were as it was straight out of the factory. The appearance was nice but it was missing some jazz to the body style I don't feel it was Mercedes-Benz's best years, but the 90s weren't great for many cars so overall I give it a 4. Pros: reliable and great gas mileage. Cons: 4 speed manual |

I Love Mine! — Preformance: The acceleration is strong but subtle the brakes feel numb but they are strong (typical Mercedes! :) ). The handling is alright but a bit soft too. Build Quality: 200 000 km without major broblems, what more is there to say... Appearance: simple box like styling, nothing special. Cost of ownership: depends how you drive... =) but maintenance is quite cheap because of its simple mechanics. Fun Factor: Again, I like the powerful engine but some people might say that it feels numb. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Build quality, reasonable power, comfort Cons: numb feeling, if styling matters a lot to you |

Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: small engine great on mileage Cons: none |

Mb 190 2.0d — Overall, one tough car. Even with all the small faults, it works and runs quite well. Chassis and suspension technics are working just fine. Small worries with engine from time to time. Nothing big anyways... Seats ARE bad, its missing some interiors, and its louder than one year newer model... thats strange. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Its tough! Cons: Red paint: it discolors real bad over time. Small and annoying faults. |

Mercedes 190e 2.6, 5-speed Manual — This is a great car for everyday use unless you are very tall or routinely carry passengers as rear seat leg room is tight. With some basic mods, it handles great and is fun to drive! The 5-speed manual transmission really improves the fun factor compared to the 4-speed automatic. Pros: Compact, fun, and well built. Cons: Too small for a family with grown children. |

I'll Drive It Till It Has To Retire. — Very reliable. No rust and still looks very current. It's actually a 2.3 liter but gets decent mileage. Parts are cheap and easy to fix at home. The stock speakers are even pretty good though the stereo is aftermarket. I'm amazed that it still has no rust and is a white car. The car was rustproofed ages ago though. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Reliability Cons: Eats more gas than a nissan |

I Drive My Favorite Car In The World. That's Cooler Than Driving The Most Expensive Car. — Not a great acceleration on the base trim... but handles and brakes like nothing else, it manages to be fun to drive, it is economic and top quality. Even if not old enough for classic status, it does look like a landmark of automotive history... Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Quality and appeareance are awesome. Cons: Avoid it if you want a new car to keep up with the Joneses. |
