1990 Buick Riviera STD Coupe ReviewCarGurus https://www.cargurus.com
Wel cared for Rivieras from this generation will give the new owner comfort, power, and style without breaking the bank. Parts are not necessarily easy to come by though since this generation is about to officially become a classic. Cross shop interior parts with the Buick Reatta. Both shared numerous interior parts. Despite having the same exterior, the 1989 interior is completely different from the 1990-1993 interior. The parts are not interchangeable for the most part. The 1989 interior pieces can be cross shopped with the 1986-1988 Riviera, instead.

1990 Buick Riviera STD Coupe winning categories:
Looks/Style Ranked 1990 Acura Legend LS Coupe worse.
"I think the 1990 Riviera looks better because of its graceful sloping tail, its waterfall grille, hood ornament, tasteful uses of chrome without looking overdone, and the formal roof line."
Cargo Capacity Ranked 1990 Acura Legend LS Coupe better.
"The trunk on the Riviera is large, but shallow. The sloping tail does not allow you to carry items that are average to tall in size. The rear seat does not fold down either. however, the trunk floor is wide and flsat, so you can lay tall objects on their side to accomodate. The trunk opens above the tail lights so there is a high lift over to put things in the trunk and to remove them."

For Only Paying $500..3 Years Ago & Putting Over 30k On It....it's Definitely A Good Car. — Performance: For it being 20 years old..it still gets up and boogies. Even though it has 172k on it, it still handles good. Appearance: It's a little banged up but not too shabby. Cost of Ownership: The gas mileage isn't that great & it needs minor repairs. Fun Factor: It can be fun at times. It's got a strong running 3.8 liter. You do the math. lol
Primary Use: Commuting to work
Pros: It's a good traveling. Very comfy interior with little road noise.
Cons: The gas mileage sucks & if the digital dash goes out...you're screwed.
