I bought it with 181k and 2 owners. 5.0 liter V8 that I got as high as 31 mpg hwy 21 mpg city. Extra cool AC and smooth as silk to drive. It failed to pass emmision requirements in my area so I sold it with 358k on the odometer. It still run and drove like a new car. I always regretted letting it go and definitely would buy another one in good shape. |

Fun First Car — Loved it it was a very good first car. Loved it because it was my very first car. Loved driving it. Loved off-roading, mudding, and drifting it just in a few inches of snow. The thing that I loved the most on the car were the breaks-the front ones, it always stoped on a dime. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Love how much power it had with the added weight of the car. Cons: needed to get better fuel economy, needed a posi track rear end. |

Love The 302 Engine Solid Car — love this car it has out lasted all of my other cars its solid reliable car not bad on gas 18 city 23 hwy strong car still has the orgnial paint not faded at all will not give him up for anything and the ac is ice cold. bought it for 600.00 they where gonna junk it becuse it needed 2 universal joints Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: good on gas v8 solid reliable Cons: dosent have a temp gage on the dash or rpm could of have a 20 gallon tank speakers on the doors rather than dash |

Love The Boat — The car may move slow with the weight it has, but with the v8 under the hood, she could make some smoke ;-). Since this was the first car I drove, and it was sitting in a garage for most of its life, it needed some serious repair in the gasket department. Once we found the problem with the header gasket, our problems were fixed. The interior feels like sitting on a couch, but the front seat headrests are missing. Because the thing has a v8 the gas mileage is poor and you tend to develop a lead foot to get it moving. all in all, the car is very comfortable to drive and I would recommend it to anyone that finds one. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Comfortable seats, descent radio, spins tires easily Cons: Spins tires on rainy road no matter who drives |

This Car Has No Issues — the performance of this car is great, it is very responsive, while it does not haul a$$ it gets on down the road, and the braking is great for a big sedan. The build quality is great, I drive it down dirt roads and it does not squeak or rattle any.The appearance is nice for an 80's model car, it is whats expected for it's generation. This car averages anywhere from 20-26mpg and this is one of the most low maintenance vehicles I have ever had. This car is fun to drive, it's like being in a time capsul taking you back in time, and enjoying true comfort as you go!! Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: the suspension is great Cons: none |

I Love This Car But Its A Burden To Lay On Any One Not Ready To Get Dirty — for a two ton heap of metal it rides like cloud. Awsome power and chrome trim it once was a beautiful cruiser. unfortunaley for a car of its age it takes alot of maitenence so its an on going project caar. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Lots of power and stability and unbeliveable ride. Cons: its all metal 2.5 tons of steel so it rusts easily and its easy to run out the trany |

Boat Doesn't Float — This was my first car. It looked great and was in excelent condition. I had to replace a lot of thi9ngs and about a year after I bought it the transmission started slipping so I sold it. Over all it was a descent car however the amount of repairs, the poor gas mileage, and the poor performance and acceleration make me glad that I sold it. Pros: Nice looks, lots of room, all the luxuries the 80's had to offer Cons: sluiggish performance, cost of repairs, thirsty! |

A Well Built, Comfortable Cruiser. — I have two. An '88 and an '89. One black, one white. These have been the best cars I've ever had. I inherited the '89 from my grandmother back in '97. I drove the car daily until '08 when I bought the white one to keep the miles down between both of them. The build quality, smooth ride, quietness and overall comfort of these cars is unmatched by today's cars. Over the years, I've had to rebuild a transmission on one and the torque converter on the other. Otherwise, just basic maintenance. (tuneups, oil changes, batteries, brakes, tires, a.c. service, cooling system service, mufflers/tailpipes, etc..) This is definitely the kind of car to go the distance and last through the years. A good car to have if you're trying to avoid all the expense of buying new. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: The best car I've ever owned. Cons: Just the gas mileage, which isn't really that bad. |

Good Solid And Well Handling Car By mpd61
I really enjoy the room, comfort and level of trim in this car. I drive a Police Interceptor for work, so I really feel at home in this baby. Handles very well and get great fuel economy for her size.... Read More
