Much Better Than An S13 — Love this car. Has the T-VIS intake, has decent power and torque, but not until around 4k rpms. Love the 7500 rpm redline. Had a few issues but its smoothing out. Gas mileage is awesome. Great to drive, loves track time and getting rowdy on the streets.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It's cage, its ability to drift, how quick it is down country roads.

Cons: No sound deadening

Awesome Car That I Will Keep Forever And That's A Promise. — I love my AE86! This was my first car, and I still own it after nearly 11 years. I paid $400 for it from a woman who bought it in California and drove it to Canada a long while ago. It was originally an AVIS rental car and still had the sticker in the back window when I got it lol. It only has around 60hp but being my first car, I didn't care, was just so much fun to get out there and drive :) This car never once left me stranded on the side of the road, only major problem I had was the clutch needed replacing but rust soon became a very big issue that needed to be taken care of. I currently have her stripped down to a bare shell in my garage (check pics) and in time will be doing a full restoration with a slightly more powerful engine and making her into a summer fun car/weekend driver. I plan to keep her forever :D

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Everything, from the 80's blue vinyl to the boxy looks.  I especially love the flip up headlights, shame they still don't make cars with flip up lights.

Cons: Only thing I hated was the rust issues, which will be getting fixed in time.

Excellent — body is rusted around wheels otherwise it runs well. It is still very comfortable after over 20 years. It rarely needs repair just routine maintenance. It accelerates well; good brakes and fun to drive. It does leak a bit of oil.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: handles well; mechanically in great shape

Cons: body rusted around wheels

Dont Buy One Unless Ur Willing To Make It Ur Pride And Joy. — Performance-Acceleration is awesome especially when u can get it to only weight 2000 pounds, handling is outrageous in this, takes 90 degree corners at 60 like nothing. Build Quality- Cant believe the amount of abuse this car can take. Toyota built this car to last for ever... Fun Factor- Is this car fun to drive? Hell yes its fun to drive, as long as you know how to drive it and what the handling characteristics are on the car...

Pros: Very easy vehicle to dirft

Cons: Their a big money pit

Get One...they Are Awesome :) — Performance isn't bad seeing as it's a 1.6, but after driving the Commodore its obviously just a little weak... but for what it is, it's great performance-wise. :) Build quality is typical Toyota... ie, excellent. I'm planning on beefing up the looks a bit, lime green paint, offset GT stripe, alloys, lowered etc, so it's got potential for sure. It does around 8-litres/100km around town and you can pritty much do any maintenence yourself so it's pritty much one of the cheapest cars out there. Insurance is mad aswell :P

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Cheap and fun.

Cons: It's small and if you crash you WILL die....

Just Transportation, Dont Expect Too Much About It. — Performance - Drivable. Quality - Heavy leaking(?!) with pipe line between engine and radiator. Appearance - Impressive! Cost of Ownership Mileage - 261500 km (165000 miles) Maintenance - Nothing on this. Fun Factor - Manual Transmission. That was only thing you can enjoy with this car

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Right before registration the car, there was HEAVY PIPE LINE LEAKING!

Cons: Most of part

Great Car That I Hope To Keep Forever — Really good through corners but not any where near fast in a straight line... Would have been really great with a 2 liter engine and a better gearbox. Cheap to run Simple and easy to maintain I build it from the ground up...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: FUN FUN FUN

Cons: You will be hooked after a single drive...
