the car is easy to maintain and you dont need a dealer to service it. Everything unbolts easily . For its age , it is whisper quiet at 70 mph, with the windows up. The car has real bumpers that work well in 5 mph crashes. No dents as with the new cars with plastic wrappers. Brakes are very responsive being that they are not antilock, but they are easy to change. visability is a positive and cruise control is very accurate and responds well up hill . the 5.0 has plenty of power and the 3 speed with overdrive responds well .May 17, 2014

car wont shift have to floor it to get it in second but wont go into drive

I have a 1985 crown vic was working fine but now wont shift .also tried checking fluid level with trans warm in park like the stick askes but fluids all over stick not allowing an accurate reading

No tail lights no dash light. I wiggled wires next to fuse box and lights worked. Now lights came unplugged and i dont know where to plug back in

My dash lights and tail lights quit working. All fuses are good but wiring under dash came unplugged and cant find place to plug back in. I could giggle wires and got it working again but now unplugged.
