1986 Dodge RAM 150 Reviews, Pricing & Specs

I have an 86 Dodge Ram 150 with a 318 and it idles fine and I can hold it wide open in park with no problems but when I Drive down the road and accelerate or give it gas to pull a hill it backfires and misses I have a repair manual I was just wondering if anybody would I have a good idea where to start first cause it has about ten different causes

86 dodge ram 150 won't shut off

I've got an 86 dodge ram d150, v8 318, automatic, my ignition Switch in my truck went bad. I replaced it but I done something wrong bc now I can turn it on and it will start runs perfect goes in gear but when I turn the switch back to the off position my truck won't shut off. I have to raise my hood and take hot post off and pull the alternator plug just to get it to shut off. What did I do wrong? Does anybody know what I can do to fix this problem? I'm so frustrated someone please help me???

1986 Dodge pick up. when selecting ac vent heat or defrost. Air will come out of main vents but not out of heat vent or defrost vent

1986 Dodge pickup d150 , No matter what is selected on the selector switch. Air comes out of main vent,not from lower outlet for floor heat, or defrost vent.
