It's Everything You Would Want In A Car! — After having owned the vehicle for 5 or 6 years the only bad thing I can say is that you never stop working on it! haha This is only because of one reason though - it's a passion for cars. If you are the type of person who would just want a car because it looks or sounds great, then don't buy it - you'll find yourself always wanting "to do" something to it!! Comparing to most other cars - awsome drive, awsome experience!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Contrary to popular believe, the car is very reliable, comfortable and not as bad on the wallet when it comes to fuel. If you drive it like you would drive any other car you are using about the same about as fuel as a "normal daily drive". It's stylish and always turns heads and with a nice exhaust system - it sounds beautiful as well :-)

Cons: The odd cars that have been worked on often have minor oil leaks and most of the time if you buy second hand you have to redo the interior - not a must, but recommended. And, not contradicting my first statement, but fuel can be heavy IF driven like a mad man... lol.

Cant Wait To Get My Next One Going — omg not the newest not the fastest but for its time incredible especially considering it has a 1.2 litre eat that bruce lol bit expensive on fuel but well worth the money. you would be hard pressed to find a car of that age that loves to rev like a rotar

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: you could always scare yourself lol

Cons: not the most practical everyday car

Rx 7 1981 — way before its time, fun to drive but tiresome in traffic. head turner and great sound from the rotary motor. running cost were high, had to have a deep pocket for fuel if you looked after the car, the motor should last forever

Pros: headturner

Cons: hard to drive in traffic, heavy on gas

1981 Mazda RX-7 Review
Frank says:
I owned a 68 Hurst/Olds, power was outrageous, I would race anything, I never lost a race. Pure adrenaline off the line. The RX-7 was nimble, and quick, but nothing beats American Muscle.
