Porsche Quality; Begs For The Open Road — If you grew up in the 60's or 70's you'll have amazing memories of the Porsche 911 as a toy you dreamed about owning. Defined by it's unique styling, durability, and amazing quality, it is a rare opportunity to find one in such find condition. Pros: The Porsche 911 is a time tested vehicle of the finest quality (still on the road and in great shape after 35 years). Quality German engineering makes this sports car timeless Cons: Rough ride |

Go For It! — I loved my SC and regret selling it. I can't really complain as I stepped up to a 911 Turbo. Having owned four Porsches I'm biased, but I think they are awesome. MY only complaint is that you need a mortgage to buy a new one. The older 911s offer great fun fo dollar value. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Lots of fun! Cons: Speeding tickets |

Porsche 911 Carrera Sc 1979. — I joy to drive, once you find a transmission machanic to solve problems. By todays standards it isn't powerful, but this car is an icon. I do plan on having a mid to late 80's 911 someday, but this time a couple in gaurds red. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Gorgeous, fun to drive, the sound of the 3.2 flat 6. Cons: Older cars have lots of maintenance. |

Porsche 911 (930) — The performance of the 930 911 is remarkable. it will hold its own against the news audis and mercedes.its a fun car to drive, not very comfortable granted but it was ment as a racecar. when you hear the engine roar its just like hearing a lion right behind you roaring to get 10mph faster. the build quality, frankly isnt the most amazing thing, they put most of thier efforts into the engine, suspension, and drivetrain. but the asthetics are just lacking, but you dont need them when your racing. appearance is divine, its the signature porsche, classic look, and just blunt rigidity the cost of ownership is pretty low, parts are cheap if you know where to look, and you can find ltos of parts in junkyard for the porsches. the gas milage is HORRIBLE, roughly 15mpg. fun factor, off the charts.. you cant compare with anything else until you drive a porsche Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Performance, Thrill, Fun Factor Cons: Uncomfortable Ride, Bad interior build quality |

Test Driven — Driving a Porsche 911 would have to be one the best driving experiences I have ever had, especially at the age of 18. There's nothing like driving a 911 with that boxer engine screaming behind your ears when the throttle is applied to the maximum. My short drive of one was enough to appreciate this car's fine handling dynamics, although when driving at the extreme limits, is not for the inexperienced driver as the rear end can catch you out. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Performance, Handling Cons: Didn't get to find out |

Porsche 1979 911 — Pricey but a lot of fun to drive. Repairs and daily maintenance are something to appreciate-yet the car is an eye catcher. I got pulled over by a Saskatchewan RCMP doing 150 mph, he said slow down and let me go. Corners are excellent, yet the actual instant acceleration lags compared to other vehicles. Pros: beautiful design Cons: maintenance and tweaking |
