First Car Turns In To Always Car! — I don't know what it is about this car. I have owned a number of them over the years. It seem that no matter what I have for a daily driver, I always have a rx7 (1st gen) as my week end fun car. If I have a crappy day at work I come home hop in and take my aggression out on the throttle. It is so predictable on the road, it does what I want, when I want, with no surprises. Other than the fuel bills. Also this car is the mother of drift racing. It all started with this car. Look it up! Pros: Most are cheap to buy, WOW fun to drive, perfect 50/50 wieght distribution. Still a head turner at 30 years old Cons: Fuel consumpition, parts are getting harder to find. |

First Hot Rod — still owen it. Over 200,000 miles on it. Who say that rotatys aren't reliable? And it still runs 17.2 sec quater miles. That is what it did when it was new according to the books. Pros: Fun little car to drive Cons: Good luck passing emissions |

Great First Fast Car — Owned it yonks ago when I was still a student...loved the fast acceleration and sound it makes. Car was a little light though, which means more concentration on handling when driving. Overall, it was a beauty for a car that was almost as old as me! Pros: The colour red was an added bonus, the accelaration was exhilirating Cons: That it was old..should've bought it when i was 4 yrs old... |
