Grandfather Of The Honda Fit — A rollerskate! Cheap and tinny, but fantastic mileage (33/42) that few cars have ever equaled. Brakes? WHAT brakes? Only chickens want to stop anyway. This was a car for GO! It would hold the road on turns even better than the center stripe. Very tiny, yet more comfortable for me that a big American hog. Fun beyond words. Now, at 31 years old (the car, not me) I have begun to restore it.

Pros: Handling, Economy, Tiny size

Cons: Brakes, Noisy, Choppy over expansion strips

The Car That Started It All — This is my project car, a 1978 civic cvcc with 5 speed manual trans. It's been sitting for quite some time, and it does not run. It will need to be completely redone. People say these cars were fun to drive, very economical, and had a revolutionary engine design. Looking forward to getting it running!

Pros: cute little car......

Cons: doesn't run as of now...

1978 Honda Civic Hatchback Review
Teuton says:
What an AWESOME little car! I bought a five speed back in 1986 and it had over 285,000 miles when it finally died. I would have totally swapped a used japanese motor, but my ex was pregnant and I bought an Isuzu Trooper instead. Im on the lookout for a halfway decent one to restore and drive.
