1971 Toyota HiluxReview
First Vehicle I Ever Owned — Try to find one of these now? good luck, I'm sure the last one rotted away long ago. It had the legendary Toyota build quality but was too far gone by the time I got it.
Pros: could drive up on to the sidewalk, no problem. Efficient four cylinder. Standard shift. Useful as a truck. Impossible to forget to turn the turn signals off.
Cons: parts impossible to find. Dorky looking turn signals. Hazard switch located way under dash, very hard to find. Thin sheetmetal rusted very easily.
