Nice Introduction To The Muscle Car World. Ended Up Shorting Out The Electrical And Sold It. — It drove well (after I had the alignment I messed up fixed). Used the exhaust and interior out of my 1970 Torino so it sounded good and had a nice interior. The paint was horrible and after I shorted out the electrical no guages worked and the farmer I sold it to ended up seasing up the engine after using it for a farm car for a year.,

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Decent style.
Decent power (390 2 barrol).
C-4 Auto.

Cons: Previous owner painted it yellow over the original green. Every trip to the car wash left less yellow and showed more green.

I enjoyed this car, but it always felt a little floaty on the road. Really hard to compare it to my Comet because they are basically the same, extecpt for the styling (Even the 4 hole dash looks similar).

"The headlights over under, and the rear of the Comet is just about perfect."
Back Seats Ranked 1967 Mercury Comet better.
"Nothing except they are fabric, and the Fairlanes were vinyl (and they are interchangable, so there is no differance really)."
