Cant Beat The Mid 60s Style. — This car is great to look at. The best part is that not many other people around are gonna have one, so itll be a head turner. The 300 v8 has amazing torque, and the 2 speed auto manages it well. That being said this car is NOT FAST, and handles like a boat. But it puts a huge smile on your face whenever you drive it.......Why do modern v8's not sound as good as they did in 65?!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Its cool as hell.  300 v8 has a ton of power for 65, 310 ft lbs of torque! Bench seat is very comfortable.  Great ride. Solid cruiser.

Cons: No ac, thats what they make windows for right? Its an automatic. Hard to find parts, especially for the rare 300 v8.

Great Car For Driving To Shows And Aroud Town — It's a 1965 Buick Skylark Conv, it has a 340 V8 and a powerglide 2 Speed At tranny. We plan to put a Chevy 350 and a four speed. We also want to put a chevelle rear end in it.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: powerful and great ride

Cons: Hard to get parts

Moving Therapy — I got this Skylark in May of 2014 and put 2300 miles on it until October when I put it in storage and didn't have any issues at all. I did have a slighty leaking Valve cover gasket so while I was replacing both Gaskets I stripped and repainted the covers Buick green. I also replaced the rear coil springs as it was saggin' a bit . The only other thing I need to do first thing in the spring is replace the timing chain cover gasket and while that is off I'll replace the water pump as well. Then it will be ready for another summer of going to different cruise-ins or shows every weekend and driving it to work a few times all the while saving some cash to get some very minor body work done and a paint job in the spring of 2016. I'll also make sure the tranny is given some care and will some fatter tires equivilent in size to the ones you could get new as an option keeping the 14 x 6 wheels and spinner hubcaps.

Pros: Comfortable

Cons: Nothing
