The Chevelle differed from cars of its day in the simplicity of its design and size of its body. While many muscle cars had tail fins and extravagant design, the Chevelle kept is clean and simple.
The engine was a 194-ci I6, but most opted for a V8 rated at 195 horsepower. A four-barrel carburetor L77 was rated at 220 horsepower.

Its a really well kept, '64 four door, one owner since 1965, 43,000 orginal miles, on a nice 283/ 2 speed power-glide tranny. still has plently of get up and go and gets around 20 mile to the gallon.
January 2, 2008i had a 64 chevy 2, then 65 chevelle conv liked it a lot , little biger then the 2 , 25 years later found this 64 chevelle in philippines love it just big enough ,looks like my 64 chevy 2, makes me feel like i am back in the U S A ,(apple pie) in my eye
