Performance with two turbos and double Dellortos was good but with one turbo and 8-point injection controlled with Megasquirt gives more torque to old Y-Block. 630,3 Nm ( 463 ft lbs ) at 2600 rpm and 329.5 hp at 4900 rpm. Turbo and injectors were too small but when that is fixed I believe there will be over 500 hp easily. But that's another story with different chassis...Feb 28, 2009

Magneto Ignition for 1927 Ford Model A

I have a dead magneto distributor. I can't figure out how to get it to build up a charge. So I can run the car without the battery. The distributor works fine when I use a battery, but when I hit to switch over to magneto and try to start it won't start.
