2002 Chevy Suburban, What Causes The Rear Washer To Not Work?

have a 2002 chevy suburban and the rear washer fluid wont spray? I also have a 2007 trailblazer same thing i can hear it running like its trying to pump, on both vehicles but nothing comes out?
