Like the looks both inside and out. Nothing flashy or overly exciting but elegant in its simplicity. Cabin is a little cramped for taller people and defintely isn't a carpooling vehicle but is good for hauling reasonable loads good distances with one or two passengers. Engine is fairly powerful for its small size but is definitely not as strong as some larger engines. Gas mileage could be better for the size of the vehicle. Has off-roading capabilities even with only rear-wheel drive (especially rally-style tracks, not so much in mud) with good ground clearance and a capable stock suspension package in pre-runner trim. Vehicle is now 5 years old and still runs and looks brand new.
Pros:
Quality package, everything you need but nothing you don't, durable vehicle
Cons:
Slightly underpowered, could get better gas mileage, 4-wheel drive on standard cab short-bed would be sick

Bought this truck for my restaurant's big delivery days, it was a great pickup and I should have bought the 4 door one but didn't think about it. If you want a great truck this one was it. This truck did everything I needed it to do.

Its an OK truck but the appearance of the grill is a little lacking, The performance is ok. Ownership is good. and its a overall fun and ok car to drive daily. Thats all I have to write for this car

Could use another gear it pulls a little too hard on the interstate above 60. a little more space would be nice. I want a four door in the future.

The ride is stiff & boxy. The truck has plenty of torque, especially considering it's not a 4x4. Gas mileage varies between 16 to 19 mpg, having the tonneau cover on the truck bed helps. It was fun to take off-road, when I had the mud tires on it. Even with cruise control on long trips, you still have to take stretching breaks. I've added the Michelin LTX/MS street tires which make handling much better. Just had to replace the timing belt at 115k miles as a preventative measure - a procedure that can cost upwards of $350 or more.
Pros:
Torque for climbing and driving off road. Decent turn radius.
Cons:
Boxy & stiff ride. MPG.

Just the right size to fit in the tight streets of a large city but big enough to haul all your stuff. Perfect truck to load up and go camping with your friends. This one has the 2.7L I-4 mated to a 5-speed manual. Even with the small wheels and tires, it still has more ground clearance than most stock 4x4s.

Size Reliability Image 700lbs lighter than the equivalent 2005-and-up Tacoma Handles winter weather with confidence

Turning circle
Seats Not enough power if your hard on it but not enough fuel economy when you're easy on it. I knew that when I bought it. It's the price that's paid for the versatility and it's worth it.

Perfect for biking, snowboarding, and everything else I was doing in VT...I would have kept it longer if I did not run it into a guard rail at 55 mph on the North Way in upstate NY.

I have raced this truck off and on for a few years now. Every mile I drive is very hard on it. It never lets me down.
