2002 Ford Escape Reviews
| “Escape” Reviewing:
2002 Used Ford Escape XLS 4WD
its a pretty good truck, not an awesome stereo tho. big cargo space for soccer. the truck is just ok 0-60 like 9 seconds which isnt 2 bad for a small suv. it gets lik 21-23 mpg so not awesome but it'll work for a like the next couple weeks...
Pros —
roomy, 6-disk in dash cd changer
Cons —
not as fast as i want, not very good speakers

2002 Used Ford Escape XLS 4WD
The Escape is alright, it doesn't lack power, but is an expensive suv to run.Parts are unreal. It's one of the smallest suv's out there, and I don't find it easy on gas.It is spacious if you are a small family, any more than two kids,it's way too small.
Pros —
Power wise is good
Cons —
Expensive to own

| “A Great Little Suv That Is More Like A Truck.” Reviewing:
2002 Used Ford Escape XLT 4WD
good little SUV. Excellent in the snow. Is a truck and handles like one - rather than a sportscar. Well built, no body issues. Had some water leakage on the insude which took some time to figure out and ended up the liner had pulled away from the door frame. Nice looking truck and well thought out on the inside. We really like it.
Pros —
dependible, Not bad on gas. No major issues.
Cons —
not very many.

| “My Excape Of Pleasure” Reviewing:
2002 Used Ford Escape XLT
This vehicle is very sharp and popular with the color. It is solid in the handling and never had any hints of it tipping, the upkeep is simple as long as you do regular ooil changes and tires. this car can go up the beech easily and travel for hundreds of miles without any problems.
Pros —
color and the sunroof
Cons —
gas mileage

I used to love it, it's helped me with several cross country trips, but its an American car with little resell value- and has had several mechanical problems. |
| “Great Car” Reviewing:
2002 Used Ford Escape XLS
This Vehicle was GREAT on Gas, even with the 3.0L V6. I was getting on average about 20-21 miles to the gallon (Depending on how I drove)
Pros —
The Gas Mileage was Fantastic, and this Car has a ton of GO.
Cons —
The front driver and passenger seats were extremely uncomfortable to sit in for an extended period of time.

| “I Love This Car!! Its Amazing What You Can Do With It!!” Reviewing:
2002 Used Ford Escape XLS 4WD
I've had this car for 6 years now, I simply love it. it handles very well. the car responds as fast as I can think and that got me out of very tight spots I can tell you that.
Pros —
very comfortable to drive for short and long distances. when maintained well it will keep performing as if it was a new car every day.
Cons —
the brake system needs improving, the car speeds up very fast but the breaks don't match. need to leave a larger distance than usual for breaking low and high speeds a like.

| “A Decent Small Suv” Reviewing:
2002 Used Ford Escape XLT 4WD
We bought our Escape new back in 2002. It now has almost 300,000 km on it (yes we drive a lot!!). For the amount of miles we have put on this vehicle it has stood up well, and I have no major complaints. The only chronic issue seems to be with the brakes. Despite putting mostly highway miles on it, we have experienced a lot of seemingly premature brake wear - maintenance and replacement of brakes on this thing is expensive! I think have put at least 3 of the car dealer's kids through university on brake work alone!
Pros —
Very sturdy reliable vehicle for winter driving conditions. Has come in handy for light towing.
Cons —
Wish the gas mileage was a little better, but it's not bad for a V6 engine I suppose.

Escape is a nice vehicle. I would buy another but a hybrid style. Its not the best on gas ,as for all SUV/Trucks.
Pros —
I Like all the extras I have wit my truck : 6 disc changer, and sunroof
Cons —
None... I have no problems with my truck so far!!!
