CarGurus' 2005 BMW 325 Review

This marked the last year BMW produced its 325 with a 2.5L engine. Despite plans for a complete overhaul of its least expensive 3-Series model in 2006, BMW offered enhanced equipment and options for the 2005 model year. Among the improvements: wood interior trim became standard and aluminum trim was offered as a no-cost option. And, being 2005, the German carmaker naturally made it easy to add satellite radio, iPod adapters and Bluetooth technology to the vehicle.
Beyond the window dressing, however, the 2005 325 offers drivers what they have come to expect from BMW: "spirited performance" and "crisp handling" in the words of one reviewer. Most don't notice much of a difference in the performance of the 325 and its more potent big brother, the 330, and few would argue with the reviewer who noted the car's "manual gearshift is a joy to operate."
