Why is my driver side door panel lights keep shutting off?

Asked by Alexis Mar 21, 2023 at 11:37 PM about the 2021 Hyundai Sonata Limited FWD

Question type: General

My interior door panel lights from the driver side turn
off for some odd reason and my buttons stop working
but the passenger door panel lights are on, I’ve
noticed that when I slam the door the lights turn back
on and all my buttons work again. It just started doing
that and I’m trying to figure out why that’s Happening.
Anyone out there know what it could be? Thank you
in advance.

Broken wiring inside the door to body tunnel. Nasty job replacing the wiring.

Thank you. How can I look that up or what would that wiring harness be called. Am I able to buy it retail or I have to go through dealership?

Dealership if they even sell it. Most likely you will have to pull each wire trough the tunnel and then solder and shrink wrap each one.
