i have a 2004 pontiac vibe which needs a new catalytic converter. when i look them up, there is multiple different shapes and sizes of cats that all say they will fit. does there need to be certain one, or will any of the ones listed do?

FWD. friend of mine is going to help me with it. i know i need a new one because the engine light is on and the shop that the car has been going to for the past 3 years said that its bad.

i did find out that there is direct fit, and ones that will need some finagling to fit
