Car won't start when I turn the key

Car won't start dash lights work radio works but when I
turn the key nothing happens

It could be that the battery has enough juice to light up the dash but not enough to turn the starter motor. I'm guessing that when you turn the key, you are hearing a click, or some rapid clicking. Have the battery checked, then have the charging system checked.
